Celebrities are seeing red…hair, that is

We’re not sure if it was her newly red hair that turned heads at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C., or her walking hand-in-hand with Sean Penn. Either way, Scarlett Johansson knows how to make an entrance.

The formerly blonde actress has sported red locks before, as she did for her role in 2010’s “Iron Man 2.”

And Johansson is just one of the leading ladies channeling Lucille Ball and Jessica Rabbit - among other notable Hollywood gingers - of late.

Blake Lively, another former blonde, showed off a new red hue at the TIME 100 Gala in New York City on April 26.

“It’s for the film ‘Hick,’ ” the “Gossip Girl” actress told People.com. “I thought (my character) needed red hair.”

Lively added: “I love it … I feel like Ariel.”

Drew Barrymore was spotted at a Los Angeles Lakers game in April with her new man and an even newer red 'do. Barrymore, who has never been afraid to experiment with her locks, was previously seen sporting darker roots with lighter ends.

“90210’s” Jessica Stroup dyed her hair red in late January. She stuck with the fiery hairstyle through a Black Keys concert in Las Vegas and Valentine’s Day in February. However, the actress has since returned to her brunette roots.

Rihanna, who's not afraid to make a statement, has rocked her red ‘do since June 2010.

Please do not refer to red-heads as "gingers", as done in this article, it is as derogatory as some racial slurs.

C'mon. There are more interesting things we could read about right now. Like uh osama, or uh, obama's birth certificate, or nuclear waste destroying our planet.. I don't give a crap about who dyed their hair what color.

No its true! its just a waist of space, there are people dying because of starvation, illness, injusticeand many other things, and all we want to read is entertainment. Those are the issues that should be written about to turn humanity's heart towards action. Peoples hearts are so cold and hard now a days its sad. Hopefully more urgent things will be adressed than famous peoples hair color.

A good idea to maybe get some relevant information in this waste of space on the internet would maybe have celebrity reactions to osamas killing, rather than the change of four b-listers hair colors...go America!
