Singer Paige Miles may not have won "American Idol" last season, but she has plenty of reasons to be thankful.
The Top 11 finalist from last year escaped a burning car Tuesday night after leaving a rehearsal in South Florida.
Miles told CNN she had been in rehearsals for the lead role in a production of "Beehive" when her mother's Envoy caught fire after the electrical system failed.
It’s been more than 20 years since Rob Lowe was traipsing about as a member of the “Brat Pack” – a name for his then-circle of celeb friends that the 47-year-old actor now heartily accepts – and the road to fame has changed.
Back in his day, Lowe told Oprah Winfrey on her show Thursday, when one’s sex tape caught the attention of the press, it wasn’t a good thing.
And the “Parks and Recreation” star should know: he was at the forefront of sex tape leaks, thanks to a video of the actor and two young women, one of whom was 16, making headlines back in 1989.
Perhaps MTV should consider a "Nursery Shore" spin-off: One of the former "Jersey Shore" stars just might be pregnant.
According to TMZ, Angelina Pivarnick has confirmed to them that she is pregnant.
The site says that apart from Pivarnick admitting to being with child, she had no other comment. The father is said to be Dave Kovacs, her fiance since February.

First Ashton Kutcher wanted to make a movie with Justin Bieber, and now Mark Wahlberg is fighting to put him in a film.
"Justin Bieber and I are going to do a movie together," Wahlberg tells Vulture of the Paramount Studios project. "We’re putting it together… We pitched them the idea and, you know, we’re talking about doing it. He loves the idea. He's been sending me video, he sent me a video of himself, and, yeah, I think he’s really talented."
According to Deadline, Bieber will play a street-basketball player in the drama, which Wahlberg tells Vulture will center on a "a reluctant mentor in an inner-city environment."
"Harry Potter" fans have literally been waiting years for an extended glimpse of the final battle between Harry and Voldemort, and they finally got it on Wednesday night when the trailer for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" was released.
The trailer promises non-stop action - with wands flying and enough explosions to rival a Michael Bay film - in the final showdown at Hogwarts between the boy wizard and He-Who-Must-Not -Be-Named.
“The Office” has provided its fair share of laughs over its seven seasons, but tonight's super-sized episode that marks Steve Carell’s exit - and the departure of Michael Scott, the eccentric but loveable boss Carell's portrayed to acclaim on the NBC series - had the cast holding back tears.
Director Paul Feig admitted to the Los Angeles Times that yes, even he had to break out the tissues. (And it looks like he wasn’t the only one - the tears were flowing for Angela Kinsey as well as she rehearsed a final scene with Carell.)
But when the time came for Feig to hand his present of a desk clock to the "Office" actor, he tried to leave him with a more upbeat message.
