Taylor Lautner on his two Snow Whites

Taylor Lautner must be a real Prince Charming — how else to explain the fact that two of his leading ladies have been cast as Snow White in competing projects?

"It's crazy!" Lautner tells MTV of "Twilight" pal Kristen Stewart and "Abduction" co-star Lily Collins headlining separate fairy-tale flicks.

Though Lautner is rumored to be dating Collins, he isn't taking sides over which actress will make the better damsel in distress.

"I'm lucky, because they're completely different Snow Whites, so I feel like I don't have to choose one," he said. "They're completely different stories, and the Snow Whites themselves are totally different."

Indeed, Stewart's version, "Snow White and the Huntsman," will focus on the titular huntsman's efforts to protect Snow White from the Evil Queen (Charlize Theron).

Collins' still-untitled 3-D version, meanwhile, will star Julia Roberts as the queen and "The Social Network's" Armie Hammer as the Prince, and will offer a more trippy take on the classic tale. Director Tarsem Singh tells MTV, "It's actually like if you looked at Gaudi's architecture, based in England, done like a turn-of-the-century Russian film by an Indian guy."

Both Snow White movies will arrive in theaters next year.

  1. Boring

First, this whole Hollywood "drama" of who to cast is so ridiculous and sad. Absolutely NO talent in originality!
The Lily girlfriend was snobby during Abduction, but ambitious enough to get that job. I'm surprised that Mr. Lautner continues this one, but guess the 'honeymooning' is addictive for him and "productive" for her career....Just keep using daddy's name, girl..

  2. The Way It Is

This 10000000...-percent caucasian pretender knows more than a few "Snow Whites" to strike against America with. But America knows how to strike back and does it.

  3. Huh?

Sounds like a big mess to me. Not one, but 2 remakes of a story that has been done over & over! Please, Hollywood write some new stuff!!!
