Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Elijah Wood play Beastie BoysGet ready to see the Beastie Boys as you've never seen them before. In the rap group's upcoming short film "Make Some Noise" aka "Fight for Your Right Revisited," Ad-Rock, MCA and Mike D are played by Elijah Wood, Danny McBride and Seth Rogen, respectively — with Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly and Jack Black also taking on the same roles. The 30-minute video, directed by MCA, originally made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival in January and features the "1980s version" of the Beasties (Wood, McBride and Rogen) meeting their future, middle-aged selves (Ferrell, Black and Reilly). "This is something you can't even make sense of until you've been to the future and spent time there," Black says in a trailer for the short. The men get into an argument over which of them are the real Beastie Boys and attempt to settle things with a dance off. Eventually, the cops arrive in the form of the actual Beasties. "Make Some Noise" aka "Fight for Your Right Revisited" is the first single from the trio's new album, "Hot Sauce Committee Part Two," which is set for release May 3. The video, featuring cameos by a host of celebrities including Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Rashida Jones, Jason Schwartzman and Will Arnett, premieres April 20 on TV and online on MTV2, mtvU, VH1, Palladia, Comedy Central, MTV and Spike.
