Who moved you out of the 'Idol' Top 7?

That was a pretty good show!

Even Seacrest says that it was exceptional. America has a tough choice and it could go so many different ways.

This competition is one of the best so far, I think, and I would buy music from almost all of them.

'Idol' Top 7 storm the stage

9:20 p.m. – Hey Rock Mafia!

They are Miley Cyrus' producers and it was funny to see Jimmy back pedal a little bit on his comment to Lauren that she can sing better than Miley. He says he just said that to "motivate" Lauren. Riiiiiight.

He brings Rock Mafia in to hear Lauren sing and she freaks a little bit. For someone who the other contestants say loves to talk, she looks like she can barely speak.

'Idol' Top 7 will keep it current

Yes!!!

The Top 7 on "American Idol" will be performing songs from the 21st century and I am eager. This is the theme which could go really well or really badly.

Why? Because of the two most important words on "Idol": song choice. I can almost guarantee that someone is going to select a song just because they love it and it's not going to go over as well as they hope. FULL POST

'Hard times come again no more' on 'Parenthood'

As "Parenthood" wrapped up its season last night, the show was all about tying up some story lines while unraveling others for next season.

Last episode, Amber went completely off the rails. She was getting high at Julia's law firm with the age-inappropriate valet guy and not hiding it at all. Amber fought with her mother and drove off with valet guy, right into a drunk-driving accident.

This episode opened with Sarah getting the phone call and the Bravermans gathering in the hospital waiting room. Of all the family gatherings to lose patience, Max has a meltdown at this one. He's hungry and Adam promised him pancakes, which he wants right at that moment.

Taylor Lautner on his two Snow Whites

Taylor Lautner must be a real Prince Charming — how else to explain the fact that two of his leading ladies have been cast as Snow White in competing projects?

"It's crazy!" Lautner tells MTV of "Twilight" pal Kristen Stewart and "Abduction" co-star Lily Collins headlining separate fairy-tale flicks.

Though Lautner is rumored to be dating Collins, he isn't taking sides over which actress will make the better damsel in distress.

Ricki Lake's returning to daytime TV

Oprah Winfrey's on her way out, but talk show vet Ricki Lake is making the move back to daytime.

According to Broadcasting & Cable, Lake is officially developing an hour-long talk program with Twentieth Television.

While her old show, which was distributed by Sony Entertainment and aired from 1993-2004, was aimed at younger women, Lake is now thinking more broadly. B&C reports that the 42-year-old single mom will cover topics like family, marriage, parenting, divorce, weight-loss, health and nutrition.

FADER Icon issue reveals new stories on B.I.G.

Between the tributes, books, a major motion picture and even FBI file dumps, a lot has been said about the late rapper Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace, but The FADER magazine is aiming to put a fresh spin on the conversation with its Icon issue.

Instead of focusing on Wallace's 1997 death, the publicly played East coast/West coast battle or the drama surrounding it, the issue opts to celebrate his life, says FADER Media's co-founder Rob Stone, who worked alongside the artist as an Arista Records exec.

“My memories of Big are really [of] this young guy trying to make it, who had a talent that was probably unequivocal on any level that’s ever been seen. He just had an innate ability to rhyme and to tell a story, and… I wanted to focus on the greatness of him and the impact he’s had on people’s lives.”

New 'Dark Knight Rises' roles revealed

Following weeks of whispers that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will play the Riddler in "The Dark Knight Rises," director Christopher Nolan is finally giving a definitive answer.

Instead of the Riddler, Gordon-Levitt has actually been cast as a Gotham City cop, with his "Inception" co-star Marion Cotillard also signing on as an employee of Bruce Wayne's corporation.

According to a press release, Cotillard will play Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises board member eager to help Bruce Wayne resume his slain father’s philanthropic efforts in Gotham City.
