David Arquette: Courteney and I will always be togetherIf David Arquette’s relationship with his estranged spouse Courteney Cox could be summed up with a status update, it would probably read, “It’s complicated.” The 39-year-old actor told CNN as much while on the red carpet at the premiere of his film “Scream 4,” which also stars Cox. “Anyone who’s gone through something like this knows that it’s really difficult,” Arquette said of the couple’s separation last fall. “People are complicated, we’re complicated creatures.” But if there’s one thing he’s confident about, it’s that their bond is staying intact. “We’re a family. We will be together forever, regardless if we’re married or not," Arquette said. "We’re treating each other kindly and with respect and that’s a really important thing to do in a process like this.” The actor, who has been open about his struggle with alcohol and drugs and wrapped up a one-month rehab stint earlier this year, added that he’s still currently focused on bettering himself. “I’m working on myself and trying to be a better person and that’s sort of my responsibility,” he told CNN. “I’m taking that responsibility and recognizing who I really am.”
