Katie Couric and Matt Lauer will be together again on the "Today" show – at least for one day.
Couric's rep told the New York Post that she is scheduled to appear with her former co-host next Wednesday on "Today" to tout her new book, "The Best Advice I Ever Got: Lessons From Extraordinary Lives."
Will the appearance be a precursor of things to come?
According to a recent story in the New York Times, Couric is exploring her options once her contract ends this summer as anchor for "CBS Evening News," including a possible daytime show with a familiar face.
"Ms. Couric is pursuing the idea of her own syndicated talk show, possibly with her former 'Today' show co-host, Matt Lauer," reports the Times.
