'Idol's' Top 12: Who was your favorite?

Who got your vote tonight?

The show felt a bit uneven to me, with some great performances, some OK and a few I could have done without. Is this season's group as majorly talented as we thought earlier or is the bloom off the rose?

Most importantly, who do you think is heading home tomorrow night? Don't forget to sound off below and join us for the results show.

'Idol's' Top 12 hit the stage

9:50 p.m. - Whenever I hear Heart's "Alone," I am always reminded of Carrie Underwood's performance a few seasons ago, which was amazing. Utterly amazing.

Jacob attacks this 1987 song like his life depended on it. He has been so consistent so far and I was really feeling it. My husband said he reminds him of a male version of Jennifer Hudson and I can see that. Big voice, emotion and range. Love!

He definitely put some "Lusky stank" on it. Do your thing Jacob!

If it's Wednesday, it must be 'Idol'

"American Idol" judge Steven Tyler better hold on to his bleeper sign because Wednesday night's performances will be the dirty dozen.

Well, not dirty in terms of language or salacious performances but hot, hot, hot. At least that is what we are expecting.

Tonight's theme will be songs from the year the contestant was born and we are hoping that everyone brings their "A" game.

As was the case last week, a compilation album and individual tracks of studio versions of the contestants performances will be available on iTunes after the show. According to a press release, last week's album was a Top 10 seller on iTunes.

Don't forget to join me as I live-blog tonight's performances and Thursday night's elimination show.

'Hereafter' home video sales to benefit Japan relief efforts

'Hereafter' home video sales to benefit Japan relief efforts

The Matt Damon-starring movie “Hereafter” was pulled from theaters in Japan earlier this week, and Warner Bros. is using the film’s Tuesday release on DVD and Blu-ray as a way to raise money for relief efforts.

According to the L.A. Times, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is donating an unspecified percentage of DVD and Blu-ray sales to the Japanese Red Cross Society following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit the nation last Friday. Those familiar with the matter tell the Times that the donation will be in the ballpark of $1 million.

The Clint Eastwood-directed film focuses on grief and the afterlife, but it does contain a scene depicting a tsunami wreaking havoc on a coastal town. It’s been playing in Japan since February. A Warner Bros. rep explained to CNN, "In deference to the tragic unfolding events in Japan, we have pulled 'Hereafter' from the theaters.”

The Warner Bros. rep added that the opening of Anthony Hopkins’ horror thriller “The Rite,” which was originally scheduled to bow this weekend in Japan, has been postponed.

Kim Kardashian: I never had my butt done

The secret to looking as good as Kim Kardashian? Dirty hair and a simple belt, the reality star reveals in the April issue of Self magazine.

Kardashian also knocks down rumors that her other beauty secrets include nips and tucks.

"I've read that I've had my lips done. I've always had big lips. Look at my baby pictures. It's ridiculous," she tells Self. "Or they'll show one picture of me today and one tomorrow, and say I've had my nose done in between. When? Didn't you just see me yesterday? And how many times have I 'had my butt done'? People's logic is so weird. I don't know why they bother! You can't worry about all the gossip."

Kardashian's advice is to gain self-acceptance and know that everyone has assets worth celebrating.

"Find the one part of your body that you love and accentuate it," she advises. "For example, because I have a small waist, a big butt and thin legs, belts work for me. You have to know what looks best on your body."

Alec Baldwin taking singing lessons for 'Rock of Ages'

Alec Baldwin is prepping his pipes for "Rock of Ages."

The "30 Rock" star says he's gearing up for his role in the upcoming film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical by taking singing lessons. "You have to," he tells Vulture. "You have to take it seriously."

In "Rock of Ages," Baldwin plays Dennis Dupree, the owner of the Bourbon Room club, where small-town girl Sherrie (Julianne Hough) takes a job while pursuing her dreams of becoming an actress.

'Showbiz Tonight' Flashpoint: Has 'Glee' lost its mojo?

There are shocking claims today that Fox’s hit show, “Glee,” has lost the spark that makes it so special! Accusations that the plots - even the songs - are lame.

I actually love how things are evolving this season. But what do you think? Post your thoughts below.

Another big "Showbiz Tonight" debate today: Who should replace Gilbert Gottfried after his firing as the voice of the Aflac duck? I think it should be someone with a very distinct personality who can put their stamp on the iconic “spokes-duck”!

We also have a "Showbiz" Newsmaker interview with Christina Aguilera. She’s speaking out to us for the very first time since her drunken arrest.

And Donald Trump gets roasted! His Comedy Central roast was brutal. So I’ve got to ask – why the heck would he put himself through that?

See you on "Showbiz Tonight" at 5 p.m. ET and again at 11 p.m. ET/PT on HLN today!

Never fear: 'Tosh.0' isn't canceled

Earlier this week, just prior to the most recent episode of Comedy Central's hit series "Tosh.0," host Daniel Tosh tweeted the following: "yes the rumors are true. this weeks show will be the last one for awhile. need to figure out what i really want out of life."

But that statement, reminiscent of Dave Chappelle a few years ago, didn't cause quite the uproar among his legions of fans as this one did last night, after he did his weekly live-tweet of the show: "sadly gary mann at comedy central is forcing the show to take a long vacation. still hoping to make 20 more eps this year."

Fans on Twitter were worried: "you can't stop! Where will I get my Internet videos?!" asked Clumseh.

Remembering hip-hop legend Nate Dogg

Fans and celebrities alike are pausing with reflection as word spreads that hip-hop artist and vocalist Nate Dogg passed away on Tuesday. His longtime manager, Rod McGrew, confirmed to CNN that Nate Dogg, born Nathaniel Hale, died at the age of  41.

Hale – who was the legendary master of the rap hook -  famously appeared on Dr. Dre’s seminal album “The Chronic,” and provided vocals for a number of rappers, in addition to releasing his own solo work with albums such as “G-Funk Classics Vol. 1 & 2" and “Music & Me."

He collaborated on a number of hits, including the track that will never age, “Regulate” with Warren G, as well as Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode," Snoop Dogg's "Lay Low" and 50 Cent’s “21 Questions.”

'Facts of Life' cast will reunite at TV Land awards

Fact: TV Land is doubling the nostalgic fun at the network’s upcoming awards ceremony by not only featuring a reunion of the “Welcome Back, Kotter” cast, but also bringing the “Facts of Life” members together again.

Lisa Whelchel (Blair), Kim Fields (Tootie), Mindy Cohn (Natalie), Nancy McKeon (Jo) and of course Mrs. Garrett, as played by Charlotte Rae, will reunite for the first time in 20 years at the 2011 TV Land awards, Entertainment Weekly reports. "The Facts of Life" stars will be on hand to accept the Pop Culture Award.

If you're wondering where George Clooney will be, EW notes that his name wasn't included in the round-up. But perhaps he'll be added in before the show airs on April 17, like they've added to the list of those joining the "Kotter" reunion.
