Rob Lowe not headed to 'Two and a Half Men'Reports have circulated that Rob Lowe might be in the running to replace Charlie Sheen on "Two and a Half Men" - rumors that even Sheen himself has endorsed - but "Parks and Recreation" executive producer Michael Schur wants you to know that Lowe's not going anywhere. "The Internet lit a match and set itself on fire," said Schur of the stories at Wednesday night's PaleyFest panel about "Parks," adding that there was "no truth" to the rumors, according to The Hollywood Reporter. NBC announced last summer that Lowe was joining the critically-acclaimed comedy as a full-fledged cast member, and his turn as Chris, the super-positive, super-healthy state auditor, has been an instant hit with fans.
Lowe made some cryptic tweets about the rumors on Tuesday, writing, "On Spring break with the family, my Two Men are running me ragged! They just go, 24-7." 15 minutes later, he tweeted, "Now taking the boys to the Parks And Recreation will be the goal!" As for that other rumor regarding John Stamos replacing Sheen, the "Glee" actor denied it in February, but has been mum on the subject since Sheen was fired from the show.

Cant imagine John Stamos in that role. that would totally ruin the show. Maybe Rob Lowe would do ok but after 8 yrs of Sheen in the part it just wouldnt be the same with another actor. Theyd be better off just cancelling the entire thing. and besides the ahow isnt that good anyways.

The guy gets fired for behaving like his charactor? Still don't get it. Won't watch the show anymore no matter who they hire!!
Awww I would have liked to seen him on there.. So now I have to hope for Jerry Oconnel.
GOOD HE WOULD HAVE RUINED MY FAVORITE SHOW WHAT ARE PEOPLE EVEN THINKING GET CHARLIE BACK HE MAKES THAT SHOW WHAT IT IS.
