Stooges movie films in April – but still no cast, say Farrellys

The upcoming Three Stooges movie is just weeks away from filming and Bobby and Peter Farrelly still haven't found their leading men.

"We're shooting at the end of April," Peter told CNN at Wednesday's L.A. premiere of their latest comedy, "Hall Pass." "We are down to several excellent actors for the roles, we just haven't made a choice. But we will in the coming weeks, and that gives us five weeks of rehearsals."

And that's nothing to nyuck-nyuck about!

The "Three Stooges" movie was to star Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro and Jim Carrey as Larry, Moe and Curly, respectively. Both Penn and Carrey dropped out and Del Toro remains a question mark. It's since been rumored that Johnny Knoxville might play Moe with Andy Samberg taking on Larry, but the Farrellys say no final casting decisions have yet been made.

"We got everything in place, but we don't have the cast yet," Bobby tells CNN. "But we're looking diligently. There's a lot of good guys out there." Adds Peter, "We don't want to make up our minds until we've seen everybody. We want to be fair about it."

Stay tuned!

I think Jack Black should be Moe, Paul Giamatti as Curly and that's all for now.

Hello would you mind sharing which blog paotflrm you're working with? I'm going to start my own blog soon but I'm having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something completely unique. P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I had to ask!
