'Community' gets politicalLeave it to the community college where the mascot is the "Human Beings" to be without a class president. That's right, when Vice President Biden plans a visit to Greendale Community College on Thursday night's "Community," Dean Pelton scrambles to have an election, and as one might expect, Annie is eager to run for the position. "I felt like we were actually basing it more on real life and actual political events," actress Alison Brie, also known for "Mad Men," told reporters last week. "And, you know, there’s a bit of Hillary Clinton I think to what Annie is doing, and maybe even some Bill Clinton to what Jeff is doing." "And I play Chelsea Clinton," her co-star Danny Pudi mentioned.

James Franco and Anne Hathaway re-enact 'Grease'Will James Franco and Anne Hathaway have any chemistry when they host Sunday's Oscars? Judging by a video posted on Franco's Facebook page, they go together like rama-lama-lama… you know the rest. As part of the awards ceremony's opening montage, the duo recreated scenes from several classic movies, including "Grease." In Franco's 19-second clip, circus-like music plays over washed-out, home-movie-style footage of the actors reenacting Danny and Sandy's famous "You're the One That I Want" number at an amusement park funhouse (hello, Shake Shack!). Franco sports a retro '50s pompadour while Hathaway wears a mess of curls and skintight black spandex. Which other classic film moments will the pair be performing? Christina Applegate: I didn't know love until my daughter was bornLove took on a whole new meaning after Christina Applegate welcomed daughter Sadie Grace on January 27. "I've said 'I love you' to people over the years but I was lying. I was totally lying," Applegate, who is engaged to musician Martyn LeNoble, told CNN at Wednesday's L.A. premiere of her movie "Hall Pass." "I didn't know what really loving someone was until [Sadie] came into my world." Applegate and co-star Owen Wilson, who recently became a dad to a baby boy, shared photos of their babies at the premiere. The actress couldn't help but gush about first-time parenthood: "It's fantastic and remarkable and all those words to describe how brilliant it all is!" Even her rumored 18-hour delivery? "It's sort of an urban legend," Applegate says of the reports, before clarifying that Sadie's labor didn't take nearly so long. "It was a process. Let's just call it a process."

Happy Valen-birth-iversary on 'Modern Family'"What were we even fighting about?" Unfortunately for Phil Dunphy, that question was quite literal on Wednesday night's "Modern Family." When Claire asked him if he understood why she was upset, he said, "I do..." followed by "not" in his confessional. At one point he wished her a "Happy Valen...birth...iversary!" to cover all the bases.

Randy Quaid and wife allowed to stay in CanadaRandy Quaid and his wife Evi have been granted permission to stay in Canada after fleeing the United States because they believed they were the targets of "Hollywood star whackers" who target actors and kill them. According to the CBC, the Quaids — who are facing felony burglary charges and misdemeanor counts in the U.S. and are wanted on $500,000 bench warrants — applied for refugee status in October, and the Canada Border Services Agency has since dropped inadmissibility proceedings against them. Because Evi's father was born in Canada, she was granted Canadian citizenship on February 10 and allowed to sponsor Randy as an immigrant. "When Evi and I came to Canada last October we could never have envisioned how things would unfold and how our lives would change," Randy said of being allowed to stay in the country at a news conference Wednesday, according to the CBC. "Today we're here to say thank you Canada. Thank you for your warm welcome. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to live in peace." 'Showbiz Tonight' Flashpoint: Is Arquette's confession a sign of recovery?David Arquette just sat down with Oprah Winfrey for an explosive interview in which he made a stunning rehab confession. Arquette revealed how his wife, Courteney Cox (whom he’s currently separated from) staged an intervention that ultimately led to David checking into rehab for alcohol and other issues. I admire David for speaking so openly about his addiction problems and sharing how important an intervention was. I say, good for his family and friends for taking that difficult step!
