Clooney: I've done too many drugs for politicsHe may play a dirty presidential candidate in the upcoming drama "The Ides of March," but in real life George Clooney would never dream of running for office. "I didn't live my life in the right way for politics," Clooney, who has been approached by the California Democratic Party, tells Newsweek. "I f—ed too many chicks and did too many drugs, and that’s the truth." And telling the truth, he says, is key for any campaigner. A savvy politician "would start from the beginning by saying, 'I did it all. I drank the bong water. Now let's talk about issues,'" says Clooney. "That’s gonna be my campaign slogan: 'I drank the bong water'?" Drunk with love for 'Glee'It would be way too easy to say I blame the good time I had with Tuesday night's "Glee" on the alcohol. No, I wasn't drunk, but just about everyone on the show was, and that made for hilarity and hijinks. "Glee" is one of the few shows that can take a subject as serious as underage drinking and have some fun with it. It all began with Rachel's desire to live a more exciting life in order to help with her songwriting skills. (Seriously, that headband-based tune was pathetic.) Justin Bieber to be immortalized in waxFirst he was turned into a plastic doll, and now Justin Bieber is getting the wax treatment by Madame Tussauds. "I'm honored to be getting my own wax figures at Madame Tussauds New York, London, and Amsterdam," says the Bieb, whose doubles will make their debut in March. "To be immortalized in wax alongside some of my idols — Michael Jackson, Prince, Beyoncé and my mentor, Usher — is incredibly exciting and very cool." The singer was measured for his wax figure prior to lopping off his signature hairstyle, which begs the question: What kind of haircut will the Tussauds' teen idol be sporting? FULL POST Getting to know Girl TalkTalk about a career change: Gregg Gillis - known to some, most likely, as the guy behind Girl Talk - has gone from being a biomedical engineer by day to serving as a one-man laptop band. Girl Talk channels a diverse array of popular music spanning the last 50 years. Gillis' latest album, “All Day,” consists of 372 samples over the course of 71 minutes, blending various genres and decades - no wonder his music is described as a “pop collage.” You can hear, for example, the Rolling Stones' “Paint it Black” with Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow," plus the Young Rascals' “Good Lovin’” and Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair,” all fused into one song at the same time. Hallmark Channel to debut its own Wills & Kate movieKate Middleton isn't even a princess yet but she's already the queen of TV movies: According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Hallmark Channel is following Lifetime's lead and turning her romance with Prince William into a small-screen biopic. Airing August 13 at 9 p.m., "William & Kate: A Royal Love Story" is a biographical film that also explores the nuances of the modern monarchy. "The love story of Prince William and Kate Middleton, which will culminate April 29, 2011, in the biggest royal wedding since Charles and Diana, chronicles the pair as young students at St. Andrews, William's Army training at Sandhurst Military Academy, their break-up, reunification, engagement and planning of royal nuptials, and advice from William's grandmother, the Queen," says Hallmark programming exec Barbara Fisher.
