The vid follows a small black girl as she walks through a snowy maze of high-rise housing all alone. From there, an opening credit sequence - taken straight from the playbook of the French thriller “Enter the Void” - shoots out lyrics to the song in a strobe-light fury that could make some queasy. The video then cuts to a shot of a scantily-clad Rihanna and a James Dean-esque (thanks to that red jacket) Kid Cudi, and none of it seems to make any correlation to the opening narrative.
