James Franco is now officially a member of both Twitter and Facebook. (And not a moment too soon; how else were we supposed to keep up with his never-ending career moves?)
"How's it going? This is James Franco," he says in a videotaped message posted on Facebook on February 18. "Just saying that this is the authentic Facebook and Twitter and every other page... All those other ones are impostors."
Franco, who had more than 120,000 followers on both sites as of press time, adds, "I've decided to go onto the Web, and this is the real thing. So, welcome. Don't listen to those other pages."
The Oscar host/nominee hasn't posted too many messages thus far, but he has shared quite a few images, including arty self-portraits, a cartoon sketch of an actor at an audition, and several photographs. Among them: Julia Roberts in "Steel Magnolias"; a plane passenger holding a sign urging viewers to join the Mile High Club; and, er, an unflushed toilet.

Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta has been dropped by his label, Jive Records, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
While the singer's 2008 self-titled debut album sold nearly a million copies and was certified platinum, Archuleta's latest album, 2010's "The Other Side of Down," sold only 67,000 copies as of February 18, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Is Matthew Morrison singing love songs to Olivia Munn? It sure seems like it.
The "Glee" actor and the "Perfect Couples" star were spotted heating things up at a hockey game between the New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers at Madison Square Garden on February 20. According to Just Jared, the duo held hands during the showdown and reportedly snuck in a smooch as well.
Munn, who is currently in New York City filming the Sarah Jessica Parker comedy "I Don't Know How She Does It," previously dated "Star Trek" star Chris Pine, while Morrison was once engaged to soap actress Chrishell Stause.
Morrison and Munn haven't yet officially gone public as a couple, but perhaps he's still getting to know her better first: Asked which item he would never want to find in a potential girlfriend's apartment, the Broadway veteran, who prefers a "real classy kind of woman," told Elle magazine: "A Snuggie. Have you seen those things?"
Billy Ray Cyrus revealed in an interview with GQ magazine that he should have never let Miley become so “Hannah Montana” famous.
Cyrus says the show destroyed his family, and he's now scared for his daughter Miley. In the wake of those comments, Billy Ray has canceled his appearance on “The View.” Does this mean Billy Ray regrets his Miley tell-all?
I think on some level, he might. He obviously had a need to get the stuff he said off his shoulders. But if it caused a major rift with his daughter, he may be finding that telling-all wasn’t worth it in the grand scheme of things.

About the most exciting thing to come out of the Georgia peaches' gathering was the revelation that Fakedra is considering going into the funeral home business. Kandi and the sex toys I get, but dead people, Phaedra?
That came amidst the continued NeNe versus Kim showdown where the former tried to get louder than the latter. I am convinced that NeNe's strategy of bullying is to just keep raising her volume until the other person just can't take it anymore. FULL POST
Kathy Griffin has got something to sing about! Besides starring in her first Broadway show, she's just landed a guest spot on "Glee."
"So excited! It's true!" the comedian tweeted February 18, confirming a TV Line report that she'll appear in an upcoming episode.
Griffin will play one of the judges at the Regionals competition, and her character, Tammy Jean, is said to be inspired by a certain favorite target of Griffin's: According to Movieline, the Fox series was seeking an actress to play "a middle-aged 'recent Tea Party candidate and home-schooler — a Sarah Palin type.'”
