Another familiar face could be making his way to Southfork.
As Marquee previously reported, Larry Hagman, Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy will be reprising their roles as J.R., Sue Ellen and Bobby Ewing in TNT's upcoming "Dallas" reboot.
Now, Deadline.com reports that former "Desperate Housewives" star Jesse Metcalfe is close to joining the cast. Metcalfe, who most recently starred in the NBC series "Chase," is being eyed for the part of Christopher Ewing, the adopted son of Bobby and Pam.
Newcomer Alex Russell is also said to be a candidate for the role.
The original "Dallas" ran from 1978 to 1991 and centered on the wealthy Ewing clan, which included dastardly J.R., his long-suffering wife Sue Ellen and J.R.'s nice-guy brother Bobby.
The new "Dallas" will find J.R. and Sue Ellen's son John Ross (Metcalfe's fellow "Desperate Housewives" star Josh Henderson) battling Christopher for the family dynasty and the affections of the ranch cook's daughter Elena (Jordana Brewster).
