It's not easy being Miley Cryus.
You get that sense in the teen actress/singer's new interview with Marie Claire magazine.
Especially when the now 18-year-old is asked if she really thinks smoking a bong filled with salvia (an herb legally sold in many health food stores) was a mistake, given that some young people her age have smoked illegal substances.
"But they're not Miley Cyrus," the teen star told the magazine. "They're not role models. So for me it was a bad decision, because of my fans and because of what I stand for."
In her first exclusive interview since the bong scandal, Cyrus also talks about her close relationship with Demi Moore, her co-star in the soon to be released comedy "LOL," life on the set of her new film "So Undercover" with Kelly Osbourne and her plan to "spread love and change the world in 2011."
The magazine goes on sale February 15.
