'Glee' tour to hit the stage once again

Take heart Gleeks!

The cast of "Glee" is returning this spring with a 16-city North American tour.

Thirteen cast members from the hit Fox show will hit the stage beginning May 21 at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas.

Series co-creator Ryan Murphy said the cast was inspired by the success of last year's musical tour.

“The cast and I were so moved by the love and enthusiasm of our fans at last year’s concerts that we knew we had to do it again,” he said. “There is something magical about thousands of ‘Gleeks’ coming together to share a special night with our cast, and this tour is one way we can thank them for their unbelievable support from the beginning.”

"Glee” stars Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike) and newcomers Chord Overstreet (Sam) and Darren Criss (Blaine) will perform.  Criss, for his part,  said he couldn't be more excited.

“Joining the cast of ‘Glee’ has been an amazing, rewarding and humbling experience all at once,” Criss said. “On top of all of that, I’m fortunate to play such a strong and interesting character like Blaine that speaks volumes to fans. Now I have the chance to perform for thousands of them this summer, and I couldn’t be more excited!"

Tickets for “Glee Live! In Concert!”go on a special pre-sale for American Express card holders on February 11.

Wonder how long it will take for their egos to become so over inflated that they decide they don't have to do silly tours for their fans anynmore.
