It looks like Lifetime has found the perfect (future) princess for the upcoming "William & Kate" TV movie. The network has crowned British actress Camilla Luddington with the fairy-tale role of Kate Middleton, according to a statement.
Like 29-year-old Middleton, brunette beauty Luddington was born in the county of Berkshire. She has previously appeared on the TV shows "CSI" and "Days of Our Lives."
As Marquee previously reported, "NCIS: Los Angeles" star Nico Evers-Swindell will play Prince William and actor Ben Cross will portray Prince Charles in the biopic, which tracks the romance of William and Middleton from their first encounter at Scotland's University of St. Andrews through the ups and downs of their nine-year courtship.
"William & Kate" is set to begin production next week and is expected to air close to the royal couple's April 29 wedding date.
Guess who's playing Camilla?
My pet peeve! Why put an ariticle on anyone if you don't show the picture of that person! We would like to see who the heck you are talking about, we have millions of the royal couple. THis is poor journalism.
This engagement will be over by the time the Queen runs out of her jar of smelling salts.
How about we see if the marriage actually happens before making a movie, huh?
Because there weren't enough two-bit movies about Diana and Charles?
