It's a boy for Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz

Yes, it’s true: Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz are now the proud parents of a baby boy, a rep for Bardem confirms to CNN.

Bardem, 41, and Cruz, 36, "welcomed their first son into their family last week," the rep said, adding that “both parents and baby are doing great.”

According to People, the little one was delivered at Cedars-Sinai medical center in Los Angeles.

This isn't the only joyful news for Bardem, though - the actor scored a best actor Oscar nod for his role in "Biutiful" on Tuesday.
