Goldie Hawn 'excited' about Kate Hudson's baby newsGoldie Hawn could barely contain her joy for daughter Kate Hudson as she attended the British 2011 Comedy Awards in London this weekend. Hudson, 31, was said to be expecting earlier this month, and Hawn spilled to Us Weekly, “I’m excited! It’s exciting." According to Us, Hudson has been dating daddy-to-be Matthew Bellamy for nine months, and while the pregnancy wasn't planned the couple is embracing the news, a source told the weekly magazine. The “Raising Helen” actress has been busy raising one thus far – her 7-year-old-son Ryder, whom she had with ex Chris Robinson. According to an Us Weekly source, Hudson is “happy for Ryder to finally have a brother or sister.” And it looks like Hawn's ready for another grandchild. "You know, we're just all very happy...happy for them both," the 65-year-old actress said. "What's more to say?"

Lots of you are correct about her – she has a different man in her life every few months. what message does this send to her son who sees his mother with different men all the time. wonder how long this daddy will last.
Are you kidding? Just because she has a kid doesn't mean she can't have love, too. Dating around does not mean promiscuity...it means searching for the right person. Sometimes it takes a while to find him/her.

Plain and simple . . . had her mother not been Goldie Hawn, she would not be where she is. She has the financial means to support her kids so leave her alone. Eventually she will be dust when the public tires of her. Just like Jennifer Aniston who is coming out with another bomb on Febraury 11th. Studio heads never learn.
Jennifer Aniston is a pretty good actress as is Kate, with or without her mom. There are alot of people who became famous with parents that wern't. Why are you so mean?
Is there anyone in Hollywood she hasn't screwed? She's been used as a sperm lab by about 50 different dudes in the past year alone.
Not only is that staement not true, it is very mean and hurfull. Having a lot of boyfriends doesn't mean you sleep with them all! A smart person will date and find out if they are compatible first, then become a couple.

Who are people to judge them? The same people that would be screaming high wholly hell of she were to have an abortion....or if she had the kid and needed welfare. Hypocrites. Because, you know, they all were virgins when they got married, every last one of the people commenting on this story.

I thought I was the only one disappointed in Matt. I'm a Muse fan as well. I guess it's partially my fault for assuming that he wasn't the "conventional" rock-star to go cavorting with obvious groupies. I guess I was wrong. I don't think that her role in "Almost Famous" was an act at all. It was autobiographical. She's just another Heather Locklear/Pamela Anderson.
I can't help but wonder why Goldie would be happy about a unmarried, pregnant daughter who has only known the father for 9 months and obviously has no intention of getting married. Isn't this what most responsible adults are trying to avoid happening to their daughters?
at least she has been married in the past, she makes her own money, can afford them, and does not get in legal trouble. if you want to complain, complain about mtv's teen mothers that is increasing the rate of teen pregnancy, or i work in a lab and the majority of our new hiv and hep c infections are from patients the ages 16-24. its an epidemic yet its not being portrayed in the news. the u.s. hiv and hep c rate is sky rocketing. so complaining about a woman who is not sucking off tax payer dollars, is not a menace to society, and takes care of her children, and is way past the legal adult age of 18... give me a break. and oh yea, thats right, its hard to hold a candle to your perfect self who has never ever ever even thought of doing anything out of the norm, you have never made a mistake, never nope not you, you were are just like Jesus every day, you never even talk bad about people either, you never toss stones from your glass house, nope not you
I get your point...but I would think the decision to keep a child by an adult, finacially independant women who has the means to supports herself and her children is different to some kid making bad decisions. I don't think she should be judged for not getting married – that is a personal decision.
Why wouldn't Goldie be happy for her daughter and future grandchild? Kate has chosen to be a single mother like many others, including myself and does not have to depend on anyone to help her take care of the child. Those of you who are so closed minded about her being single and pregnant need to leave and go to another planet. The perfect man is not always out there for all of us but that shouldn't stop us single ladies from enjoying motherhood. Lily Daisy, wake up and join the world as it is.
I agree with your message. Too many people thinks it is okay to keep having children and they don't even know each other. What Goldie should be concerned about is how many men Kate goes through and in front of her son! How many boyfriends she has paraded in front of her son since she cheated on her ex-husband. I wonder has she ever thought of using protection? Condoms and birth control are every where. she changes men as much as she changes underwear (if she wears them). But then again Goldie never married Kurt. So I guess the apple did not fall far the tree!
