The new episodes of Cartoon Network’s “Star Wars: The Clone Wars" will introduce some intensely dark characters who deal with some grim themes, some of which sprang from the imagination of one of George Lucas’s own: His daughter, Katie.

The 22-year-old opened up to one of the "The Clone Wars" fans, 10-year-old Kira Simons, about why she decided to go into the family business.

It turns out that Katie began writing when she was in second grade, “just little silly poems,” she told her young interviewer.

Three seasons in, and we’re definitely still watching “Jersey Shore.”

Last night’s premiere of the MTV reality show drew 8.45 million viewers, making the start of season three MTV's most-watched series telecast ever.

The premiere also delivered more young viewers – ages 12 to 34 – than any other broadcast or cable show this season, excluding sports programming.

And compared to season two’s debut – which also set a record when it premiered last July with 5.3 million watching - the ratings for the third season’s opener were up by 63 percent in the 12-34 demo.

Oprah Winfrey had a lot to say during the Television Critics Association press tour, among them being what she really thinks about Anderson Cooper.

A popular question from reporters at the OWN panel Thursday was whether or not she thought Anderson Cooper has what it takes to fill her shoes when he launches his own nationally syndicated talk show in the fall.

“No...He will definitely not be the next Oprah,” Winfrey replied.“Will he be the next Anderson Cooper? Yes.”

That’s what fans have been asking ever since it was reported that the teen idol twosome have been getting cozy in recent weeks. Now, Bieber's manager is revealing all about the rumored romance — sort of.

"Here's what I'm going to tell you. This kid travels a lot and I always told him, I was always like, 'You shouldn't be in a relationship unless you can give someone everything,'" Scooter Braun said in an online chat with Beliebers, according to MTV News. "I know that him and the person you're asking about are really close friends and have been for awhile. As far as I know, that's what they are."

"30 Rock" star Jane Krakowski is pregnant with her first child, her rep has confirmed to CNN.

The actress is engaged to designer Robert Godley and the pair are overjoyed with the news.

"Jane and Robert [Godley] are indeed expecting a baby," Krakowski's rep said in a statement to CNN. "Both soon-to-be first-time parents could not be happier!”

On Friday, a photo on People.com of Krakowski frolicking on the beach during vacation gave rise to speculation that the actress was expecting.

You would think that Oprah Winfrey would be delighted with how her brand-new network OWN took off in its debut week. It performed brilliantly out of the blocks on New Year’s Day.

But in an interview with "Showbiz Tonight," Oprah says she wants everyone to “calm down” and that it’s not time to do “the hula” yet! I think a lot of people are going to wonder why she seems, well, kind of worried! Oprah, I think you should feel excited.

Maybe love wasn't all around on the set of the "Mary Tyler Moore" show. During a recent appearance at the Television Critics Association event, Ed Asner took a few swings at former co-stars Cloris Leachman and Betty White.

TV Guide reports that the actor, who played gruff WJM newsroom boss Lou Grant on the hit '70s sitcom, dissed Leachman during a discussion about the success of older actors.

"Cloris Leachman has eight Emmys? Is that true? Bitch," he said of the 84-year-old star, who played snobby Phyllis Lindstrom. "Well, if you wanna act nuts like she does..."

Is Katy Perry about to become a mom? It could happen! The newlywed singer is planning a guest stint as Ted's love interest on "How I Met Your Mother."

The hit CBS series, of course, is based on the premise of Ted (Josh Radnor) recounting to his children the events that led up to his meeting their mother. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Perry's character will have a romance with Ted later this season.

In the episode—titled "Oh, Honey"—Perry, 26, will portray the cousin of Jennifer Morrison's character Zoey. Her role is described as "a beautiful, naive girl who the gang resorts to calling 'honey.'" Says "How I Met Your Mother" co-creator Carter Bays, "Katy is a tremendous talent and we are delighted to be able to work with her."

For those of you who caught TLC’s special on December 29, you’ve already witnessed the money-saving shenanigans on this reality show, which has just been ordered as a full series, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The “Extreme Couponing” special followed four of the nation’s most hardcore coupon clippers, one of whom is so serious with her coupon game that she paid only $2.64 for more than $600 worth of items.
