"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" stars Kourtney and Kim Kardashian are getting their own spinoff with E!'s upcoming "Kourtney & Kim Take New York," and now it's their kid sister's turn. A source tells Us Weekly that Khloe will be starring in a reality series of her own.
According to the insider, the show - set to begin shooting this spring - will focus on Khloe's married life with L.A. Laker hubby Lamar Odom and be similar to MTV's "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica" and Bravo's "Bethenny Getting Married."
"They're so cute, playing off one another," the source says of Odom, 31, and Kardashian, 26, who wed in September 2009.
Meanwhile, Us also reports that newest Kardashian family member Mason will barely be seen when "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" premieres January 23 because Kourtney's baby daddy Scott Disick allegedly demanded that the 12-month-old be paid $5,000 per episode.
Queen Latifah has some words of wisdom for future princess Kate Middleton.
"Make sure you have a sanctuary, because everybody in the world is going to be in your business," the New Jersey-born Dana Owens advises the British bride-to-be in the new issue of Parade magazine.
Forty-year-old Latifah, who will host the January 5 "People's Choice Awards" on CBS, tells Middleton it is important to understand that she and Prince William come from two completely different worlds - something William's mother, Princess Diana might have forgotten when she exchanged vows with Prince Charles in 1981.
Paula Abdul isn't stupid - she knows the public thinks she's loopy and not so smart. Now she's setting the record straight about her I.Q. in a new Q&A.
"I am intelligent," the former "American Idol" judge told "CBS Sunday Morning," clearing up a common misconception about her. Abdul added, "Having a brain - that's a concept, yes, with Paula Abdul! I have a brain."
Abdul, who is returning to TV on January 4 as executive producer and mentor for the CBS talent search show "Live to Dance," also explained that her ditzy, head-scratching behavior on "American Idol" wasn't due to alcohol or drugs but just being plain old goofy.
When Miranda Lambert walked the red carpet at the CMA Awards this year, the rock on her finger wasn’t the only thing getting some attention. In addition to getting engaged, the country music golden girl had dropped two dress sizes.
"I don't know how much weight I've lost. I just know people tell me, 'You look great,'" she told US Weekly.
“She looks amazing,” fiance Blake Shelton told PEOPLE before the CMAs. “She set a goal for herself, worked hard and I am so proud of her.”
Lambert said she avoids most carbohydrates and works out with her trainer three times a week. She eats a lot of vegetables, lean meats, oatmeal and salad.
"Now instead of Cheetos, I choose almonds," Lambert said of her diet change. If only it were that easy.
After serving up a critically acclaimed performance as Julia Child in "Julie & Julia," Meryl Streep is getting ready to tell the story of another groundbreaking woman: Margaret Thatcher, Britain's first female prime minister.
"The Iron Lady," helmed by "Mamma Mia!" director Phyllida Law, is set to begin shooting in January, and Streep's co-star Jim Broadbent says the 61-year-old Oscar winner is the ideal choice to play Thatcher, who served in office from 1979 to 1990.
"I think it's perceived that Thatcher needs a star, really, and she's perfect casting in many ways," Broadbent, who plays Thatcher's husband Denis, tells Vulture. "She's got a good look, and she'll absolutely do it in a brilliant way."
