Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish are parents, John's
publicist confirmed late Monday.

The child, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, was born on Christmas Day
via a surrogate.

The couple, who tweeted a pretend engagement photo on Halloween, have confirmed to CNN that they were engaged “over the holidays and are very happy.”

So much for that lithe "Black Swan" ballerina body - Natalie Portman is pregnant!

A rep for the 29-year-old Golden Globe nominee confirms to CNN that Portman and choreographer Benjamin Millepied are engaged and expecting their first child together.

French-born dancer Millepied, 33, has performed with the New York City Ballet and was the choreographer for Portman's critically acclaimed thriller "Black Swan." The couple were first romantically linked last New Year's Eve, when they attended a party together in New York City.

Portman has not yet revealed the baby's due date or when the wedding will take place. Stay tuned!

The death of R&B legend Teena Marie continues to shock fans, who still can't comprehend the "Lovergirl" singer's unexpected passing at age 54 on Sunday.

"My heart is broken," "The Talk" co-host Holly Robinson Peete told CNN analyst Roland S. Martin. "Teena Marie was an R&B Empress, a music pioneer, a brilliant songwriter/producer with the most original powerhouse vocals ever. Nobody sang like Teena! But above all she was an exceptional human being, a humanitarian and an authentic friend who I will miss dearly."

En Vogue member Cindy Herron echoed Peete's sentiments: “It’s a loss for those who loves her music, but also the music world," she told Martin. "She still had so much to offer.”

Looks like Daniel Craig is doing some serious bonding with Rachel Weisz. The duo were spotted holding hands while strolling through the English countryside this weekend.

The actors, who play husband and wife in the upcoming thriller "Dream House," reportedly shared a cottage in snowy Dorset and were later seen walking hand-in-hand together and entering a pub.

"They were laughing and chatting and hanging on to each other's words and stopping to take photos of each other," an onlooker told Britain's News of the World, which published photos of the pair.

A spokesperson for Morissette tells CNN that the rocker and husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway welcomed son Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway on December 25.

“Big Love” star Goodwin’s rep confirms to CNN that the beauty is set to wed actor beau Joey Kern, who proposed earlier this month with a ring he designed. The couple, who have been dating for two years, told People, "We couldn't be happier than to celebrate our engagement over the holidays with our families." Goodwin, 32, and Kern, 34, plan to wed next fall.

Meanwhile, 33-year-old singer Mraz said “I’m Yours” to fellow musician Tristan Prettyman by asking for her hand in marriage. "SHE SAID YES," he tweeted on December 24. For her part, Prettyman, 28, couldn’t be happier. "For Once. I Am Speechless.....i did good! holy crap! man of my dreams!!! for the rest of my life!!!" she tweeted that day.

Entertainers such as Rihanna, the Jonas Brothers, and Christina Aguilera might have been singing the blues after poor ticket sales forced them to cancel tour dates. Now they may be changing their tunes and lowering ticket prices.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, concert attendance dropped off by 12 percent earlier this year after concert promoters and managers raised stub prices. (The average cost of a ticket was $67, not including additional processing and convenience charges.) In an attempt to woo back fans, several promoters plan to slash prices in 2011. In fact, acts such as ZZ Top will even offer some tickets for the bargain price of $10.

But not every performer will be so budget friendly. Music legend Neil Diamond says he’d like to give ticket buyers a break but the enormity of his production just won’t allow it.

"As the shows get bigger, the expenses get bigger,” he says, “so it's got to be translated somehow to the ticket price.”

After making headlines this year for her skimpy outfits, sexually charged performances, and smoking salvia from a bong, Miley Cyrus has vowed to be a changed woman in 2011. In a recorded message to fans, the 18-year-old “Hannah Montana” star claims she is dedicating her life to helping others.

“I’m really looking forward to 2011,” says Cyrus, who is seen coloring with her 10-year-old sister Noah. “ I’ve got some new ideas, I want to go on some cool trips, I want to travel, I want to make this the year that I go out and do what I’m here to do, and that’s to help people and make people happy.”

That would certainly be a relief to her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. After video of Miley smoking the hallucinogenic herb salvia surfaced earlier this month, he apologized to fans and tweeted, “Just saw this stuff for the first time myself. I’m so sad.”

Most women would be thrilled to be romanced by hunks like Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck, but Gwyneth Paltrow says something didn't quite seem right when she dated the duo in the '90s.

"It was strange to be part of a public couple," the 38-year-old "Country Strong" star told E! in a recent TV special.

Paltrow and Pitt, who were engaged to be married, ended their two-year relationship in 1997. She then moved on to Affleck, but the couple called it quits in 1999. Both love affairs were closely tracked by the media. Not surprisingly, Paltrow has taken a more low-key approach in her relationship with husband Chris Martin, rarely appearing with the Coldplay singer in public or speaking about him in interviews.
