Last night's season (or series) finale of "Skating with the Stars" began with judge Johnny Weir in a giant bird cage. Never in my life did I think I would ever write a sentence like that.
Johnny joined some of the "Skating" pros in performing a bizarre routine choreographed by the judge no one has heard of. That routine pretty much personified the show in its brief run: you never knew what to expect.
Finalists Rebecca Budig and Bethenny Frankel were set to perform one final skate before they announced a winner, but first the eliminated contestants came back for one more lap around the rink.
The next time you find yourself wondering what you should wear to a Justin Bieber concert, take a cue from Johnny Depp…and go dressed as a pirate.
The 47-year-old actor showed up backstage before Bieber was set to perform in Miami Saturday decked out as his “Pirates of the Caribbean” character Captain Jack Sparrow, the New York Post's Page Six reports.
"Depp was in his Sparrow gear and called Justin a 'good chap,' like he was still in character,” a source said. “Depp brought his two kids [Lily-Rose, 10, and Jack, 7] and they hung out for a while before the show."
The World Wildlife Fund can probably look forward to a few more windfalls from Leonardo DiCaprio. The actor has come out on top of Forbes’ list of the highest-grossing actors in 2010.
Between this year's “Inception” and “Shutter Island,” DiCaprio pulled in $1.1 billion in the global box office.
Following behind DiCaprio in a tie for No. 2 is, surprisingly, Mia Wasikowska, who starred in the blockbuster project “Alice in Wonderland." The film earned $1 billion worldwide, and Wasikowska shares her No. 2 spot with her “Wonderland” co-star Johnny Depp, with both of them boasting a total worldwide gross of $1.03 billion.
Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” will apparently not only be the greatest album of the decade, as she’s previously promised, but it’ll also be more poetic.
The singer revealed details about her anticipated record to the BBC while in London for her U.K. Monsterball tour, explaining that she plans to drop a new single around February 2011, with the album arriving soon after.
Fans can expect a sound that’s "a marriage of electronic music with major, epic, dare I even say, metal or rock 'n' roll, pop, anthemic style melodies with really sledge-hammering dance beats,” Gaga said, noting that at this point she’s just fine-tuning the tracks.
