Johnny Depp is a Justin Bieber fan?The next time you find yourself wondering what you should wear to a Justin Bieber concert, take a cue from Johnny Depp…and go dressed as a pirate. The 47-year-old actor showed up backstage before Bieber was set to perform in Miami Saturday decked out as his “Pirates of the Caribbean” character Captain Jack Sparrow, the New York Post's Page Six reports. "Depp was in his Sparrow gear and called Justin a 'good chap,' like he was still in character,” a source said. “Depp brought his two kids [Lily-Rose, 10, and Jack, 7] and they hung out for a while before the show."
This is apparently also why Bieber asked the audience before performing one last song, “What do you think Johnny Depp would want me to play?" Good question. Any ideas? And while one might think that Depp would want to hang up his pirate hat, given all the time he spends in character shooting the umpteenth film in the franchise, it appears to be the opposite. Back in October, Depp put on his pirate swag once again to make a surprise visit to a school in England.

CNN taking a 'story' from the NY Post (who made errors)? Does anyone fact check anymore? Depp did not attend the concert in a costume. There are paparazzi photos of him backstage wearing regular clothing available at lesser known blogs/sites, yet CNN somehow cannot find them/include them nor can NY Post...
I have no respect for Bieber as a true performer (I don't know him as a person, so that's an entirely different matter), but just because Johnny Depp decided to go to a concert, that's no reason whatsoever for anyone to lose respect for him. He was taking his kids somewhere. You have to respect him for trying to be a good father. Jesus Christ.

Seems obvious to me he was there for his kids (Bieber is 10 year old material). He's too polite a man to say what's on his mind, that JustinB is a talentless freak with no musical skills. But hey... for the kiddies...

There is room in this world for all types & tastes. I think Johnny Depp is wonderful for playing and hanging w/his kids. He obviously loves his character & takes pride in his work! He seems like a great dad. And Bieber is having fun & playing music he & a lot of others enjoy. For those haters, grow up. You're only making yourself look ridiculous. Yeah, because banality is so much less damaging to your child than narcotics, right? Better that they never have any kind of personality and drudge along in a dreary world lacking entirely in creativity than have some fun and occasionally screw up.
And Johnny Depp is OBVIOUSLY all about the clean lifestyle and never having any fun, that's why his most memorable roles either glorify piracy/adventure or doing copious amounts of drugs and seeing what happens.

Its not that we're "worrying" about other people, its just that we're wonding why stupid people continue to ruin other peoples chance to get their "better" music out there for smarter people to listen to. I just find it amazing that there can be that many stupid people out there buying this drivel. But then again, stupidity sells. Thats a proven fact and with this Beiber kid, I have nothing more to say.

Being a Beiber-hater myself (and I hate to HATE on anyone), I would love to say that I too have lost respect for Depp. But, how could you miss that he was accompanying his 10 and 7 year old kids? That does not make him someone unworthy of our respect, but someone that should be getting more. He obviously wants loves his kids. I would like to think that any one of us would stoop to this level to give our kids a great (in THEIR minds...not ours) experience. You too are a "good chap" Mr. Depp.
