[Editor's Note: "Real Housewives of Atlanta" recapper Lisa Respers France is on vacation but will be back to talk "Housewives" drama on January 2.]
Last night's episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta" must've been filmed in the middle of a Georgia summer, because everyone clearly needed to chill out. Tensions were running high as the ghosts of past gossip came back up during face-to-face confrontation, and the ladies all seemed pretty stressed.
Kandi was working on her promo tour; NeNe was attempting to land celebrity interviews; Cynthia was trying to plan a wedding underneath the dinosaurs; and Phaedra was trying to be “mom, wife, lawyer and businesswoman.”
In fact, the only woman who didn’t seem a little frazzled and should’ve been was Kim.
Even the non-celebs among us can be body-conscious after a baby, but Amy Adams has said that weight loss wasn't her post-baby priority.
The 36-year-old actress, who gave birth to daughter Aviana in May, told Parade magazine that pregnancy actually had the opposite effect on her, helping her to form a different view of her body and what it’s made for.
“Being pregnant finally helped me understand what my true relationship was with my body–meaning that it wasn't put on this earth to look good in a swimsuit," Adams said. “I was like, 'Look, I can carry a baby! I'm gaining weight right, everything's going well.' And I've had that relationship ever since."
Neil Patrick Harris has suffered from a bout of Tweeter’s remorse.
The “How I Met Your Mother” star angrily took to Twitter on Friday after “Young and the Restless” actor Eric Braeden apparently had a change of heart about making an appearance on Harris's CBS show.
“Eric Braeden is a D-Bag. the actor, (Robin's dad) agreed to a cameo, then last night bailed, saying the part wasn't 'substantial' enough,” Harris tweeted. “We've recast with Ray Wise, a fantastic actor who makes any part 'substantial'. Super excited to welcome him to the family!”
Lady Gaga’s Parisian fans once again had to wait to see their Mother Monster take the stage.
The Grammy-nominated superstar was scheduled to perform at Paris’ Bercy stadium on Sunday, but plans were derailed due to severe weather conditions, with authorities banning trucks from entering the city.
“All 28 of my trucks for the Monsterball were detained by the French government going on over 26 hrs, 2 of my employees were arrested trying to get into Paris so we could perform,” Gaga tweeted Sunday. “I am furious and devastated, its unfair to my fans and to me.”
Looks like ‘80s-style clothing isn’t Lola’s only passion.
Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon recently wrote about her obsession with “Harry Potter” and dying her hair on her Material World blog, which is also the site for the Material Girl clothing collection she launched with her mom in August.
“I’m in L.A right now hanging out with my friend, we’re both sitting on my bed trying to find something cute to say, in case you all haven’t noticed I don’t spew rainbows, its more like frogs and stuff,” she wrote before declaring her love for J.K. Rowling’s best-selling series.
The recent rash of celebrity break-ups isn't confined to relationships: Paramore has confirmed on its website that two of its members, brothers Josh and Zac Farro, have split from the group. Josh, who played guitar, and Zac, who was on drums, both helped create Paramore back in 2004 along with bassist Jeremy Davis and lead singer Hayley Williams.
“A couple of months ago, Josh and Zac let us know they would be leaving the band after our show in Orlando last Sunday. None of us were really shocked,” the statement said. “For the last year it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore. We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy and if that isn't here with us, then we support them finding happiness elsewhere.”
The pop punk group also took the time to denounce an earlier blog post announcing the Farro brothers' departure and claimed to be from Paramore.
