Saying goodbye to 'Larry King Live'Ladies and gents, the time has come for Larry King to officially hang up his suspenders after 25 years. The finale of “Larry King Live” is airing tonight at 9 p.m. ET. This is Larry King, we’re talking about, so of course we’re going to send him off with a bang. We’ve got plenty of surprises in store for both King and the viewers at home. Plus, we’ll be live-streaming the red carpet arrivals at Spago as well as the viewing party starting at 8 p.m. ET. I have been a faithful viewer for the last 17 years and I am going to miss him Dearly. Thank you Larry for the good times. NO ONE WILL EVER REPLACE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow, can't believe it....first was Oprah now Larry...
I luv Larry King and will miss his show so much!!! Hate to see u go baby!
Larry not only help put cnn onthe map 2d yeas ago but he had some of the best guests to reveal something that made got people to watch or to make sure they were allowed time to answer to make his guests to make their point to straighten out the rumors the media was reporting he was a consomet good guy. Never afraid to ask the question. Best of luck Larry you will be remembered for all your brought to us. Thk you for everything. Good luck!! Is there a way to get Larry's contact information
i just dont understand where all of the negativity abt LK is coming from....you ppl cant dislike him THAT much, and if you do...SO WHAT! HE is getting paid millions while YOU all sit at home hating and watching...he came, he saw, he reported, he conquered...good luck Larry, God speed.
Throughout the marriages and divorce, the suspenders and loud ties....you kept the music playing! You touched pain, joy, betrayal, envy, victory, defeat and every emotion in between known to man! Yet in a strange sort of way you kept the song from fading too fast! What can we say...you are part of the human race...striving for perfection and yet imperfect in every way!
It is unbelievable how nasty u people r. No class, most uneducated lot of brats. To Larry, have a good retirement. S
For being a hundred and something years old and a boring show.. why didnt god take him off the air along time ago
Best of luck, Larry. You rock!
Larry King Live was a great show and I will miss it dearly. All the best, Mr. King!
aw, boo
My god, judging by these comments you would think the man died or something.
It will be nice to have someone who is actually relevant interviewing relevant people. Larry King seemed to be out of his element, asking the same questions night in, night out and consequently has been passed by every single talk show host.
Come on guys! Chill out! Lol. LK was not perfect, but LKL was a great show for sure!
Happy retirement to the man and luv & peace 2 y'all!
LK was cool. Always thought he'd be around. He started the show when I was 13.
Larry, I'm gonna miss you, but look forward to any shows or interviews in the future, I've been a fan of yours since your radio show days. I used to listen to you on KGO San Francisco. I love you Larry and God Bless you and your family.
Look, to all the people judging the poor guy, may punishment be with you, im 18 years old and I watched Larry King's show every chance I got. God bless his heart for being so strong to stay in the business for so long.
Larry Baba,You make me laugh but I love your show so much..unbeatable.Will surly Miss you .lol
Thanks Larry! You will be missed.
Larry you are a class act, all the best!
King was the best show, they never be a man like him again, king is what MJ was to basketball
LARRY KING IS A REALLY NICE GUY AND I WATCH HIS SHOWS ALL THE TIME. GOOD LUCK L.K
Thanks larry for the years giving us the best interviews in the world. God bless and hope you have as many years and good times in your retirement that you have given us. Thanks again.
I could see all of this being said of Howard Stern when he retires – lol. People – if u don't have something nice to say, why are u wasting your time posting? If the man was of no interest to you, why are u reading about him? Well it still olds true, you can't fix stupid.
We're going tu missed u Larry King becuz ur the greatest talk show host.
even after 25 years ,I still feel saying "gone too soon ".speaking on behalf of all haitians we love you .each and every night we gonna missed you .you are in the heart of each and every haitian .may god bless you and your family .
Larry King is a only popular talk show i ever missed so i gonna say farewel LARRY KING.
Well i guess in tv land everyone runs their course. Some longer than others. I have enjoyed your program for the last 10 years and will have to find something else to take its place. All the best to you and your family in the new stage you are taking.
*reading Thomas' post*
Woops – spoke too soon about the class thing. My bad.
Befuddled by all the vitriol posted at the outset of this string yet seems now to have swayed more towards class. And why crack on a guy for being old? Throughout his career he probably singlehandedly paid for all you twenty-somethings who might have been on welfare. Think about it.
The holiday spirit truly flourishes here makes me so very thankful to not be a Christian, or anything else for that manner. Larry was, and remains an entertainer,no more, no less. Decades of showing up day after day should be honored. Larry, thanks for not being Survivor, Idol, the biggest loser or any other pathetic show the neyworks call entertainment. Thanks for being Larry King
Maybe now he will pay back the people he stiffed in Miami.
Thank you for all the Years & information Larry We will really miss you enjoy your retirement and spending some true overdue time with YOUR FAMILY. Time passes so very fast Enjoy. We love ya!!!
Wow were did the time go. when i watched the show it was always informative and i dont ever remember larry losing his cool. the man was a first class act. he will be missed. happy retirement larry!
May god bless u.
Larry's youngest son was just GREAT!!!!!
Shame on CNN for not having Ted Turner on Larry's last show! I mean you invite Dr. Phil, but not your network founder and Larry's "boss" for almost 20 years...what idiots!!
Larry thank you for all the good news and may you have peace and happiness ?
So long Larry and looking forward to seeing you again soon. From Edmonton Alberta Canada
Yes, is brett frave next..........
LARRY THANK YOU FOR ALL THE GREAT YEARS.WE HOPE THIS IS NOT THE END OF YOU ON TV.
Really going to miss you! Going to miss the show!
I'll miss you Larry-Mean it!
Enjoyed 25 years of Larry King. Thanks King Larry
You make me laugh and cry larry..but I love your show so much..unbeatable.
Larry King is one of a kind and I believe there will be no others like him. He did not make his show about "him" in any way. He was pleasant and amiable always, encouraging and letting his guests tell their stories.I suppose his quiet laid back sort of nature is also one reason he gets made fun of about not having a pulse. Yes that's a little funny too and hopefully even cracks him up a bit. But it can be taken as a compliment too that he doesn't need the spotlight always shining on "him." Thanks Larry for all the years of enjoying your show and letting us get to see and know your guests in ways we would never get to otherwise. I will miss ya, but am happy for you and wish you ALL the best!
Week nights at 6:00pm (pst) just won't be the same.
I have watched Mr king for many years starting with listening to the radi program and imagining that i was i the studio with mr.King. He always made everyone feel as if they were part of the show,
Your suspenders and ties will be legendary! Love the King of Talk.
God bless you Larry! I for one will miss you each and every day!
Thanks for the memories!
Wuss hater you're lame. Get some class you insecure dirtbag.
I will miss the tributes to just-departed celebs. Often, those hours were as info-laden as the lengthiest newspaper obit. I hope Piers sees fit to keep the tradition going.
Never watched the show but I wish him well which I'm sure he will with his money. Why waited so long to retire though, he should have done so a while back and enjoy life.
Larry has made my
Travel time on the
Rad for 40 years
Enjoyable and
Entertainting
Enjoy your retirement mr. king...your show was informative, exciting, edgy, and very interesting. You are a true telivision person. Good job!
Larry it seems like just the other day you were on my Ark!...wow, funny how centuries fly by...
Why are people so mean to larry king he was born before any of you all he knows more than you all!!!!
If any of his blissfully rich ex-wives are reading this please please PLEASE let me know!
I will be missing so much The Man of the Hour King of Television Mr. Larry King!
It was indeed my favor CNN Program...!
Great job you did Mr. King Larry King!!!
Stay well and enjoy life with your beautiful family who your time and energy will be well spent I am sure (:
Yours,
Ramiro Mendes
Don't worry Larry the hundreds are the new forties.
Enjoy it, married one more time.
congratulations for a 25- yrs job u have done. have a happy vacation.
Does ice run in your veins? Clearly you were an abused child. I advise you to seek therapy.
Nope..no ice...not abused...you need to lighten up too...maybe Bible study won't offend you....all of the posts are making fun of him..I will try to be more like you...Thanks for putting me in my place...your my hero.
Wow so he's finally gonna retire...that's good he should just enjoy his life what's left of it anyways he's been on the air for so long
You have to appreciate his long inning on prime time tv. Best Wishes!
Good riddance. Sandy Koufax sends his regards.
Great for him that he got away with getting whatever he wanted in life. The audience, the system, his skills allowed him that much. So now he retires and hopefully we'll let the next one do exactly the same. Good for you, LK! You beat the system even though most of us knew that all this time you were the emperor with no clothes.
Thanks Larry. Real fair always. Old hell no ripe so we keep on trucking. I will miss you good luck friend
i cant believe hes leaving =( its gunna be weird watching CNN without larry king show. Why Larry!! =(
I can't believe how nasty these comments are. You guys are putrid. It's people like you that make me think, that sometimes, maybe Free Speech isn't such a great thing. Meantime enjoy your retirement Larry!
Boo hoo..lighten up!!..sorry I guess we forgot how Larry is such a great guy!!...He has made all his ex wives very rich!!..hahahaha
They r taking him off life support...thats why he's retiring......straight to the nursing home!!
People need to back off and get life. Don't hate and be jealous. Never watched once in my life, but I know who he is, so he did something right. Good luck larry.
Travis...go wash your panties!!
theres time for everythin.....
*yawn*
Well.....he seemed to be a very nice guy. I cant blame him for retiring, everybody needs their time free from the world.
He is really creepy and ugly...just goes to show who people will do for money...would any of his wives have married him if he wasn't filthy rich?...Hell NO!!
I remember when he interviewed Paul mccartney and ring starr. He was so stupid and uninformed about them it was embarrassing, He was such an ass.
Yes...but just barely.
He's still alive?
To.Mr.Larry king may god blessin be with you and families i enjoy your show take care
You cant make it feel right when you know that it is wrong. theres no movin on so he already gone.
I want him 2 know it doesnt matter where we lose the show larry has gotta go i want him 2 know couldn t have heard him better now he wants you 2 move on so he is already gone.
He lied about knowing Sandy Koufax. He allegedly had relations with his sister in law. He would fall asleep during his radio program on a regular basis. Good bye old timer. Thanks for keeping it real.
I hate to see the old man go
LK N 1 Forever!
I have enjoyed watching Larry King for many years and I will really miss his show.
It will be hard to replace him.
Stopped watching the old man when, after each 'question' he asked there was a commercial. Definitely more commercials than an actual talk show. And besides, he needs to be home taking care of wife number 8,9 or whatever the hell number she is.
LMAO, Wayne. He's always reminded me of one of those dried-apple dolls, but his show has undeniably been informative and entertaining. Even if I have doubted he had a pulse from time to time....
And when he says it's not a divorce, he knows that of which he speaks. The guy has been married about 19 times.
Who can blame him for retiring? He's got to be 127 years old.
Larry King I will miss hanging out with you every night! Love Susan
Larry Thanks for presenting so much of life's highlights to men like me, a working class hero, looking up to the guy in suspenders, hanging on your questions, cheering your insight, humor and intelligence, Good night enjoy your sunset!
He looks like jiminy crickett. I loved seeing him in the tab loids with the designer jeans and leather coat, it really complimented this creatures odd little shape. He's a piece of garbage, bangin his wifes sister, but at the sane time a girl that hot wouldn't go for a guy who looked like him without money.
He never was married 19 times. You are a idiot, Newflop.....and I recommended for you LOBOTOMY .
