Saying goodbye to 'Larry King Live'

Ladies and gents, the time has come for Larry King to officially hang up his suspenders after 25 years. The finale of “Larry King Live” is airing tonight at 9 p.m. ET.

This is Larry King, we’re talking about, so of course we’re going to send him off with a bang. We’ve got plenty of surprises in store for both King and the viewers at home.

Plus, we’ll be live-streaming the red carpet arrivals at Spago as well as the viewing party starting at 8 p.m. ET. You’ll get to see all of the celebs showing up to wish Larry well. If you can’t be stationed in front of the TV tonight, follow @CNNShowbiz, where we’ll be live-tweeting from the red carpet and viewing party starting, you guessed it, at 8 p.m. (We’re not calling this “Larrypalooza” for nothing.)

"It's been a hell of a marriage,” King has said of his time spent with CNN. “This is not a divorce."

And while it’s certainly a bittersweet moment, “there's a time to go,” King said. “You know when it's time."

Watch Larry King Live Monday through Sunday 9pm ET. For the latest from Larry King Live click here.

Throughout the marriages and divorce, the suspenders and loud ties....you kept the music playing! You touched pain, joy, betrayal, envy, victory, defeat and every emotion in between known to man! Yet in a strange sort of way you kept the song from fading too fast! What can we say...you are part of the human race...striving for perfection and yet imperfect in every way!

It will be nice to have someone who is actually relevant interviewing relevant people. Larry King seemed to be out of his element, asking the same questions night in, night out and consequently has been passed by every single talk show host.

Befuddled by all the vitriol posted at the outset of this string yet seems now to have swayed more towards class. And why crack on a guy for being old? Throughout his career he probably singlehandedly paid for all you twenty-somethings who might have been on welfare. Think about it.

The holiday spirit truly flourishes here makes me so very thankful to not be a Christian, or anything else for that manner. Larry was, and remains an entertainer,no more, no less. Decades of showing up day after day should be honored. Larry, thanks for not being Survivor, Idol, the biggest loser or any other pathetic show the neyworks call entertainment. Thanks for being Larry King

Larry King is one of a kind and I believe there will be no others like him. He did not make his show about "him" in any way. He was pleasant and amiable always, encouraging and letting his guests tell their stories.I suppose his quiet laid back sort of nature is also one reason he gets made fun of about not having a pulse. Yes that's a little funny too and hopefully even cracks him up a bit. But it can be taken as a compliment too that he doesn't need the spotlight always shining on "him." Thanks Larry for all the years of enjoying your show and letting us get to see and know your guests in ways we would never get to otherwise. I will miss ya, but am happy for you and wish you ALL the best!

He looks like jiminy crickett. I loved seeing him in the tab loids with the designer jeans and leather coat, it really complimented this creatures odd little shape. He's a piece of garbage, bangin his wifes sister, but at the sane time a girl that hot wouldn't go for a guy who looked like him without money.
