Guy Fieri: 'Minute to Win It' is 'life-changing'Food Network star Guy Fieri never thought of himself as a future game show host growing up. "I loved watching Richard Dawson and Wink Martindale on TV. I always liked the personality and energy they brought to the screen. I never imagined myself doing what they did, and I can't believe I'm doing this now." Fieri hosts "Minute to Win It," the NBC stunt game show that returns for three holiday-themed episodes starting December 7. The chef and restaurateur says fans should expect to see some holiday bonuses thrown into the mix.

Would you name your son Jesse James?Turns out parents don’t like naming their children after Hollywood’s unfaithful husbands. Their adored Hollywood wives, however, are another story. While the name Jesse, as in Jesse James, becomes less popular on BabyCenter.com’s annual Baby Names Survey, Sandra continues to creep up the list, according to the site’s editor in chief, Linda Murray. “For the most part, parents are drawn to positive celebrity images,” Murray said.

When Conan met jeggingsProving that he is a man of his word, Conan O’Brien kept a promise he made that lots of viewers probably wished he hadn’t: he donned a pair of jeggings. It all started Wednesday night when O’Brien had fashion expert and “Project Runway” star Tim Gunn on his show. Talk turned to a new fashion craze known as jeggings. That's leggings styled to look like tight jeans for you less fashion forward folks. Anyhow, Gunn let it be known that jeggings are not just for the ladies, at which point, O’Brien vowed to wear a pair for an entire show. And that he did on Thursday night. Joker footage won't be in 'Dark Knight Rises'Don't believe those rumors that the late Heath Ledger will be seen as the Joker in the next installment of the Batman saga, "The Dark Knight Rises." Filmmaker Christopher Nolan and his wife/producing partner Emma Thomas both deny that the deceased actor will be involved. Ledger died of an accidental drug overdose in January 2008 – just six months before his heralded turn as "The Dark Knight's" twisted Joker arrived in theaters. Blogs have been abuzz that Nolan was planning to insert unused footage of Ledger into the blockbuster film's follow up, but the director and Thomas have dismissed those claims to the Hollywood Reporter.

'Eclipse' director on favorite deleted sceneAfter grossing more than $30 million from midnight shows alone, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” will make its way to DVD on Saturday, just in time for the holiday season. Director David Slade told CNN that Twihards have a lot to look forward to on the two-disc special edition of “Eclipse.” On top of audio commentary from Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, as well as author Stephenie Meyer and producer Wyck Godfrey, Slade says deleted scenes and special features for Team Edward and Team Jacob supporters won’t disappoint.

Britney Spears puts rumors to restBritney Spears had a special treat for her fans on her birthday – the singer announced that she's releasing a new album. As she turned 29 Thursday, Spears tweeted, "I'm almost done with my new album and it will be coming out this March. I AM IN L-O-V-E WITH IT!" That's not all she loves. The pop star added that she and boyfriend Jason Trawick were marking her big day with a cozy getaway for two. "OK, off on a romantic weekend with Jason for my birthday. xoxo Brit," she wrote, putting to rest those rumors of trouble in paradise. |
