The Farrelly Brothers' much-anticipated Three Stooges movie will finally begin shooting on March 14, but in a wacky twist, it looks like the film has now lost Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn and Jim Carrey for the respective roles of Moe, Larry and Curly.
Deadline.com reports that Penn and Carrey are no longer with the project and it remains unclear whether Del Toro is still on board.
"The script is ready to go, and we are opening up these roles to the world right now," says filmmaker Peter Farrelly. "We'll make it with the best possible people. Our feeling is that no star is too big to audition and no matter who it is, we're going to have to see him in the role. This is not 'The Flintstones.' You've got to be Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Curly Howard, and that could be a major movie star or an unknown."
"It girl" rapper Nicki Minaj might have some unlikely competition from Anna Wintour: The Vogue editrix will spit a verse on Diddy's new CD, "Last Train to Paris."
But Wintour isn't the only fashionista getting in on the act. The album, set for release on December 14, also features the voices of designers Isaac Mizrahi, Marc Jacobs and Tommy Hilfiger, as well as Vogue editor and "America's Next Top Model" judge Andre Leon Talley.
"During Fashion Week last year, he sent out the call via e-mail and voice mail to high-fashion friends to come to his studio to participate in the record," Talley says of Diddy, whose CD was inspired by the music superstar's February 2010 fashion spread with supermodel Natalia Vodianova.
“Sarah Palin’s Alaska” saw a major drop in ratings after its first episode aired, but we're guessing next Sunday's show may spark a bit more interest. A guest appearance by Kate Gosselin and her eight children can’t hurt, right?
The December 12 episode of Palin’s TLC reality show features the two famous families as they embark on an Alaskan camping trip and UsMagazine.com has a first look at the promo for the upcoming episode.
“She’s going to rely on me to protect her,” Palin says of Kate, who shares that she has “never camped for real.” The look of horror on Kate's face as she watches the former governor shoot a rifle gives her away.
“Our ruggedness is really a mystery to people in the lower 48,” Palin adds with a smile.

Count Kurtis Blow as someone else who may not be too happy with the new airport security policies.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to CNN that the legendary rapper was caught with marijuana at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday after a security screening.
“Kurtis Blow Walker was cited by Los Angeles Airport Police at approximately 5:45 a.m. December 2, 2010 at Terminal 7 while undergoing TSA security screening,” said a statement released by police. “Walker was cited for violation of California Health and Safety Code 11357 (b), misdemeanor possession of less than 28.5 grams of marijuana and released.”
Well, like his hit song from the 1980s says, “these are the breaks.”
Mel Gibson is making his way back onto the big screen - the release date for his new film, "The Beaver," is set for spring 2011.
"Plagued by his own demons, Walter Black was once a successful toy executive and family man who now suffers from depression. No matter what he tries, Walter can’t seem to get himself back on track … until a beaver hand puppet enters his life," reads the official press release for the film, which debuts its trailer Friday on Entertainment Tonight and iTunes.
According to Deadline.com, the film was supposed to be released this year but the studio held off because of the negative press surrounding Gibson's troubles with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. As Marquee previously reported, Gibson's cameo in "The Hangover 2" was cut because several members of the cast and crew disapproved of him joining the project.
This week's cheat sheet proves, once again dear readers, that news can be awfully subjective.
One person's Michael Douglas recovery cover story is another's "Twilight" baby banner headline. And brace yourselves, because also featured in this week's round-up is a shocker...a blockbuster...a brand-new, jaw-dropping development: Another Kardashian story.
Clearly, you're just as surprised as we are.
Until next week...
