Kanye West and Nicki Minaj top the chartsKanye West and Nicki Minaj just delivered a one, two punch. According to Billboard, the pair’s respective albums have landed in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the Hot 200 chart with West’s “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” selling 496,000 copies, and Minaj’s “Pink Friday” selling 397,000, based on figures from Nielsen SoundScan. The news was not unexpected, though industry analysts had predicted a slightly stronger showing. The achievement marks West’s fourth straight No. 1 album. It is also the first time in two years that two albums have debuted on the Billboard 200 with sales of more than 300,000 units.
