Eva Longoria's poised to deal with some drama, but it has nothing to do with divorcing Tony Parker.
The 35-year-old "Desperate Housewives" star has teamed up with "Cold Case" actress Kathryn Morris to create "Sendera" for ABC. Deadline.com describes the show as "a modern-day Shakespearean drama about two wealthy families, one from Texas and the other from Mexico, locked in a struggle for power, land, sex, and legacy."
Besides "Sendera," the Texas-born actress is keeping busy by producing two other projects. "Parenting by Committee," also in the works for ABC, focuses on four single female best friends who discover that one of them is pregnant and then decide to raise the boy together.
Meanwhile, Variety reports that "Aztecs," a Starz miniseries, will center around the historic romance between Spanish conqueror Hernan Cortes and his interpreter Malinalli.
