Anne Hathaway: 'SNL' character wasn't really Katie HolmesThough her recent "Saturday Night Live" impersonation of Katie Holmes was spot-on, Anne Hathaway insists she wasn't even attempting to imitate the actress. "It wasn't really Katie Holmes; it was more [her 'Dawson's Creek' character] Joey Potter," Hathaway told the Hollywood Reporter of the November 20 skit, which had Holmes fidgeting with her hair, slouching bashfully, and frequently becoming breathless and at a loss for words while being interviewed by Miley Cyrus (Vanessa Bayer) on the mock talk show "Pretty Cool." While the 28-year-old "Love and Other Drugs" star may have had Holmes acting spacey throughout the sketch, she swears she meant no offense. "I was a teenager when 'Dawson's Creek' was airing, and I was a pretty avid fan," explains Hathaway, "so it just sort of came from that." |

ck you are 100% CORRECT! I was gonna say that but u beat me to it! Also, the girl who does Miley is pretty good too. The Miley voice she does is perfect.
She's just covering her behind in case she has to work with kooky Tom. She had the Katie hair-curling down pat (which is a Katie mannerism – not Joey). I'm very sad that I know this.
Do you know Tom? Didn't think so so STFU. I'm sad you have a mouth that spews BS.
It wasn't anywhere near the Palin/Fey resemblance but it was a very good impression.
Carzy !!!!
We love Anne Hathaway very much. I am sure her new movie will be a great comedy to watch. We will predict for her soon as we know how unlucky in love she was.. In the mean while read about Giuliana Rancic..
