Kenny Chesney concert sells out in 8 minutesMaybe that old adage is true - absence does make the heart grow fonder. After taking a year off from touring to work on his documentary, "Boys of Fall," and a new album, Kenny Chesney is returning to the road. And his fans are ecstatic. His show in Foxboro, Massachusetts, sold out just 8 minutes after tickets went on sale Saturday night. It's the sixth time Kenny Chesney has sold out the Gillette Stadium, according to CMT.
"The love affair I share with the fans in New England is like no other, and that has been built over the years," he said. "I can't wait to see their faces and spend an evening with them next summer. It's gonna feel like coming home." According to the Urban Country Blog, Chesney was the second biggest ticket seller of the decade and is the only artist in any genre to sell over a million tickets for eight consecutive summers. The four-time CMA entertainer of the year's Goin' Coastal tour starts in Tampa, Florida, on March 19. He'll be co-headlining the stadium shows with the Zac Brown Band.
