It's been far too long since we've had a Robin Sparkles fix on "How I Met Your Mother," and Monday night gave us a look at her '90s Canadian educational kids' show, co-hosted by Jessica Glitter (Pussycat Doll/"Dancing with the Stars" champ Nicole Scherzinger), and of course, Alan Thicke.
It was all very innocent and sweet, except it wasn't. Robin kept insisting that there weren't any extremely obvious double entendres going on.
At the same time, Lily worried if Robin was going to dump her as a friend once she got pregnant, since that's what happened to hockey organist Jessica (it's always good to have a heartfelt discussion in between yelling "Charge!").
We also met Ted's awful friend Punchy, who served only to annoy - though he may turn out to be key to how Ted "met the mother," since Ted will be in his wedding.
Everything worked out for the best, in true "HIMYM" fashion, with a reunion of the two Canucks at the Hoser Hut (though after Alan Thicke's creepy performance here, I'll never watch "Growing Pains" the same way again).
Was "Robin Sparkles 3" everything you hoped for? And did you catch all of the reality show send-offs that Barney quoted (did he leave any out)? Share your iReport video reaction or comment below.
Thank you HIMYM for putting the latest (and ok, parts WERE funny) spin on the "I'll know it when I see it" argument. If only our Supreme Court members were watching..... (probably way too much to ask that they all could FINALLY connect the dots & figure out that if it quacks like a duck...)
Fantastic! Loved it! Best part was Barney referring to every single "farewell" from every single reality tv show I could even think of in reference to getting rid of Punchy.
Dear lord, please let Barney have The Beaver Song as a ring tone on a future episode.
Actually, we had met Punchy in season 3, the "revertigo" episode.
The Beaver song and Barney's excitement for part 3 at the top of the show got my biggest laughs.
