Wedding news and a 'Teenage Dream' on 'Glee'"Glee" is welcoming a new warbler tonight in the form of openly gay prep-school student Blaine, but the Hollywood Reporter is giving fans a sneak peek at the episode in which the character sings Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" and captures the eye of McKinley High's Kurt Hummel. The new issue of Entertainment Weekly reports that the episode, titled "Never Been Kissed," finds Kurt (Chris Colfer) being harassed by the school's football team before heading off to check out the New Directions' competition. That's when he meets Blaine (Darren Criss), the star of the glee club at the all-boys Dalton Academy. Blaine, who is rumored to become a potential love interest for Kurt, will teach him to become confident in his sexuality and not let the bullies get the best of him.
But Kurt isn't the only one who will have something to sing about this season. Jane Lynch reveals that her character, snarky coach Sue Sylvester, is headed to the altar. "Sue gets married – that's all I'm going to tell you," Lynch, who exchanged vows with psychologist Laura Embry in June, shares with People. The TV wedding is expected to take place sometime after Gwyneth Paltrow's November 16 guest spot as a substitute teacher who fills in for a flu-stricken Will Schuester. "The kids start to all love her. So there's kind of a rivalry between Schue and Gwyneth's character," says Lynch, 50. "I did a couple of scenes with Gwyneth. She's got the goods. She can sing, she can dance. I really was [blown away]. I saw them doing a mash-up of 'Singin' in the Rain' and 'Umbrella,' and they are singing and dancing their hearts out, and Gwyneth is leading them. She's amazing." |

Wow the closet case phobes are out in force on this one. Lawman, Truth, El jefe, are you guys all that confused burly football player just longing for your quarterback to "help you out"?
Anyone dismissing this show as ghey is obviously ignoring Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris and other characters....
i love glee but this was the most gayist episode i have ever seen.
Uh, let's get one thing straight here. People are going to eat up any gay related plots Glee creates, no matter how stereotype stuffed, insensitively lame, and poorly designed they are, just because of all the gay teen suicides lately. I can't speak for everybody, but this isn't sweet. It's contrived, and quite frankly, offensive they think they can make crappy episodes and make up for it with all that's going on right now. Oh, and let's be clear; no all boys schools are like that. They treat gay kids like dirt!
oh wow i didnt know that blaine was gay on there i thought it was that blonde headed guy they was talking about.... I think it his him
Is it my imagination, or is this show just one big advertisement for all things gay?
very true.. sad.. but very true.
Holy crap, that kid, Darren Criss is so talented-actually all of them were! I can't wait to see it on my big flat screen tonight!
Where you'll no doubt be "romancing" yourself to the images of these teen boys, right?
This is, simply put, one of the most amazing a cappella tracks I've ever heard. Darren Criss' solo is incredible, and the Tufts Beelzebubs (who provided all background vocals) have never sounded better. Keep more songs like this coming!
Say Eddie King likes "Wedding News and a Teenage Dream on Glee".
