David Arquette: I'm not a cheaterDavid Arquette doesn’t want to be labeled as a cheater, he said on “Live! With Regis & Kelly” this morning. “There’s going to be a story coming out that said I was a cheater,” Arquette said. “I was faithful to my wife for 11 years… like completely devoted.” Arquette’s fling occurred after he and Courteney Cox had already separated, he said. The pair didn’t want to make it public that they had split as to avoid making a big deal about it (too late?).
“We also had an agreement that we could date other people,” Arquette said. “So somebody sold the story and I didn’t want to get labeled as a cheater.” Arquette has come under fire recently after appearing on Howard Stern’s radio show following news of the split. He said that things were taken out of context from that interview. “That tends to happen with the media,” he said. He attributed the separation to he and Cox being in different places in their lives right now. She wants to stay calm and he’s opening up a club in Hollywood that will be “everything but calm,” he said. When asked by Regis if there was a chance of Arquette and Cox getting back together, Arquette was optimistic. “There’s always a chance, yeah,” Arquette said. “I mean, I love her with all my heart. She’s an incredible woman.” |

DAVID – I hope you read this. Your honesty is not helping the public or Courteney & Coco – get into group therapy of some sort and then spill your heart. Your actions say you are very inmature and this is what your wife was tired of. And, don't forget that Coco will read these interviews some day. You can still be your oddball self and act maturely at the appropriate times. Tell all in interviews is not mature and it's not being strong, but weak. First start by stopping emotional interviews, get into therapy and deal with your issues, and then you may stand a chance of winning back the love of your life. PS – if you feel the need to help others going through the same thing, advise them not to listen to your tales. Good Luck

Emotionally it all depends on the couple but if you are legally separated (not divorced) it is not considered cheating and you can't be used against you in court.
