CW developing 'Glee' meets 'Bad Santa' series

Watch your backs, "Glee" gang – looks like you've got some competition. The CW is developing it's own song-and-dance dramedy called "Acting Out," reports Deadline.com.

Rather than being set in a high school, however, the "Acting Out" action will take place at a summer camp and focus on the relationships between the counselors and the camp's young, curmudgeonly new owner. Think Coach Sue in khaki.

The project, which is being described as "'Glee' meets 'Bad Santa,'" is being helmed by writer-director Todd Graff, the man behind the 2009 music-themed Vanessa Hudgens flick "Bandslam" and the upcoming Dolly Parton/Queen Latifah choir comedy "Joyful Noise."

"Acting Out" is set to jazz-hand its way onto the CW's lineup in 2011.

So, it's not actually like Glee, it's more like Camp Rock.
