If you thought Will Smith was an international superstar, get ready for his daughter Willow. The 9-year-old has become a mini music sensation thanks to her infectious new single, "Whip My Hair."
In the buzzed about video, which premiered Monday, Willow sports a heart-shaped hairstyle and enters a silent, stark white lunchroom before shaking things up by releasing her braids, dipping them in paint, and well, whipping her hair back and forth.
She is also seen singing and rocking out in a variety of other outrageous 'dos, including cotton-candy-colored poufs and a mile-high fauxhawk.
The song, she says, is all about self-expression. “You can’t be afraid to be yourself...You have to be yourself and you can’t let anyone tell you that it’s wrong!”
No wonder she hopes to work with Lady Gaga someday. “She is amazing!" Willow said in an interview with Power 105.1 radio. "She’s just so amazing, she’s a free person. She’s a free girl, baby.”
