Alicia Keys is singing the praises of being a first-time mom.
The 12-time Grammy winner delivered Egypt Daoud Dean, her son with husband Swizz Beatz, on October 14 in New York City, and recently took to Twitter to gush about her latest project.
"There is no word to properly describe LOVE, to describe BLISS, to express a FEELING like this!!!" 29-year-old Keys tweeted to her followers on October 17. "Thank U 4 your love, support & prayers!"
Beatz, whose real name is Kaseem Dean, was equally enthusiastic about his newborn son, and was all a-Twitter the day after Egypt's arrival. "I'm so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwwww!" he tweeted. Baby Egypt is also "welcomed by Beatz's three other children," according to a statement from Keys.
The music power couple announced their baby news and engagement in May and wed in a private ceremony in the Mediterranean in July. "Alicia is definitely one of those great parents-to-be," Beatz, 32, told People at the time. "She's super ready. Super glowing. Super happy."
