Like Wolowitz, we also missed Bernadette.
The return of Howard Wolowitz’s former girlfriend made me smile, especially since she's clearly meant to fill the “dizzy blonde” territory that's quickly being vacated by Penny.
“Big Bang Theory” manages to get a lot of mileage out of the gang’s dysfunctional love lives, and I like the balance between the sleazy Wolowitz and the dude just longing to have something more meaningful than cybersex with a “hot troll.”
The fantasy scenes were all about getting to what the Bangers (that’s what I call the die-hard "BBT" fans, so get your mind out of the gutter) really wanted to see this episode: guest appearances by George Takei and Katee Sackoff.
Will “Star Trek” and “Battlestar Galactica” fans ever be able to view the stars the same after they showed up in Howard’s bedroom as he tried to enjoy some alone time? I must admit that Takei and that voice creeped me out just a tad, though as a pair they were perfect as the devil and angel battling to advise Wolowitz on how to proceed with his lady love.
I'm also glad the mystery of why the couple broke up was finally revealed. Now if we could only get a glimpse of Wolowitz's mother... I know, I know, it's much better that she remains just "the voice."
Overall a fun episode, though I really wish Leonard could get more face time. I mean, is it fair that the dude loses his woman AND his status as one of the main stars of the show? Who does he have kill to get a storyline these days?
What did you think about this week’s “Big Bang Theory”?
Just an ok episode. Like how they are giving bigger story lines to Raj and Howard, Sheldon is the star of the show, Leonard I can do without, not sure why seems like he forces his character on us, he could be recast and I don't think it would hurt the show...but then again I do like johnny Galicki and shows and movies he has done, but I have never been able to swallow his voice on BBT feels forced. I might be wrong....love the show...."Donka Donka dionka dionka"
@Wisdkstarzzz- you're comment really threw me with its indecisiveness. You say how his character could be recast and then go on to say how much you like him and the shows and movies he's done.
Saying that is like saying you like ice cream but could do without the milk... Leonard is Leonard, he's the most grounded character of them all and so that gives him the burden of sometimes seeming "less than". I take Leonard for what he is: the voice of reason, albeit its an acerbic unimpressed voice.
I like them all equally, though I do gravitate towards Wolowitz... darn his spiritely quirky charm.
1st: Isn't Bernadette a biologist? Not rocket science, sure but not a just a waitress at the Cheesecake factory either. 2nd-I nominate Roseanne to play Wolowitz's mother. Many other alum have joined the show. Roseanne would be perfect as the shrill voiced neurotic overprotective Mrs. Wolowitz!!!!
It was a good episode, it is nice to see other characters besides Sheldon getting a storyline. It needs to get back to an ensemble cast with everyone getting a share. Leonard provides the sense of normalcy to the eccentricities of the others. it was good to have Walawitz become more than just a charicature.
Damn ! She is MILF
It was a funny eppi. Not the best ever, but I was glad to see Howard's gf back onscreen. And I don't really care if I see Leonard onscreen or not. Sheldon is the star and the main one I watch the show for.
