'30 Rock' cast worried about first live showAnything can happen when NBC's "30 Rock" broadcasts its first live show this Thursday – and that's exactly why the cast is worried. "So much can go wrong," writer/star Tina Fey (Liz Lemon) admitted to the Hollywood Reporter. For starters, Fey is concerned about all of the racing around she'll be doing during the episode, she told MTV. "I literally asked the costume designer to get me black Easy Spirit sneakers; hopefully no one will see," Fey said. "I really need grandma-style shoes to run around the studio."
Jack McBrayer thinks his nervous energy will work well for Kenneth the page, but he told the Holywood Reporter, "I'm kind of worried about swearing." Jane Krakowski (Jenna Maroney) claimed she doesn't mind messing up – with one condition: "I just don't want to be the first one to make a mistake." Krakowski added that she also worries what unpredictable cast mate Tracy Morgan (Tracy Jordan) might get up to during the episode, though Morgan told MTV he plans to stick to the script. The comedian also told the Hollywood Reporter that his seven-year stint on "Saturday Night Live" prepared him well for "30 Rock"'s live show. "I read the script and I know my lines...I'm going to disappoint a lot of people," he said. |
