James Franco's acting may be subtle, but his makeup? Not so much.
The former "Freaks and Geeks" star sports lipstick, lashes and a whole lot more on the Fall-Winter cover of Candy magazine, described as "“the first transversal style magazine.”
The 32-year-old actor shot the cover - in which he wears blue eye shadow, heavy mascara, bright red lips, earrings and a choker while seductively smoking a cigarette - with celeb shutterbug Terry Richardson.
"Everyone thinks I'm a stoner, and some people think I'm gay because I've played these gay roles," says the star, who portrayed bisexual actor James Dean in a TNT biopic, Harvey Milk's lover in "Milk" and plays gay poet Allen Ginsberg in the upcoming film "Howl."
"That's what people think, but it's not true," says Franco. "I don't smoke pot. I'm not gay..."
