Paris Hilton lands Oxygen reality showFuture reality star hopefuls who may have pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges for drug possession and obstruction of an officer, take heart: Just look at what happened to Paris Hilton. After admitting that she was carrying cocaine in her purse during a traffic stop in Las Vegas and then lying to an officer about it, the heiress has landed a reality TV show with Oxygen – which will also feature Charlie Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller, no less. The docu-series, which is currently untitled, will follow “Paris and four important women in her life, through all of their ups and downs, loves gained and lost, marriages, kids, divorce and more, revealing a lively group of dynamic individuals,” according to a statement from the network. It will supposedly show Hilton's life outside of the tabloids.
The four women on board are Mueller; one-time-Fred-Durst dater, single mom of two, Playboy model and Hilton photographer Jennifer Rovero; Hilton’s mom, Kathy; and Hilton's friend Allison Melnick, who’s described as “a major player in L.A’s nightlife scene.” (Apparently Kathy Hilton “will also reveal a side of herself that the audience hasn’t seen before: a prankster with an unrivaled sense of humor,” the statement says. Who knew?) The statement didn't reveal when the project would air on Oxygen, so stay tuned.

Wow, I can't believe how her friend treated Paris assistant in Vegas. What she can't walk her hard as* and find the room her self? Paris should of said something to her friend right then and their when treating someone like they aren't a human being. That disgusted me and showed how ugly of person that girl was. Treat your elders really? Show some respect to earn it hunny. I would be embarrassed if I was Paris. You embarrassed her on national TV, and for her to have a friend like you is bad on her image.

Well, well, well, what could possibly be so important about her life that anyone would consider important? Why does she need a TV show? I, for one, thought the media force fed us her daily life every few minutes with an update. I could care less what happens to her but I did like some of the previous suggestions: deprive her of oxygen and drive her car off a cliff just to name a couple.
Oh isn't this just charming.
Do we really want to watch another B**L S**T reality show featuring this mishap of a female. She is not anyone for us to be allowing this type of behavior for TV... GET IT TOGETHER OXYGEN......
No wonder the US is the laughing stock of the rest of the world. Spoiled, rich, pampered brats who, through the *brilliant* thinking of network television are encouraged to display and teach our American youth that honesty, hard work, success in life, and concern for one's fellow human being is all just a bunch of hooey. Who is responsible for this drivel at Oxygen?
This is the most depressing news I've heard since the Michigan Assistant AG stalked and harassed a college student after hours. Why aren't people in power or with money held accountable for their misbehavior?
But I guess after the Bad Girls Club, what else can we expect from the Oxygen network but more trash? They are a VH1 wanna be and that's a low standard to reach for.
How about focusing on the "ups and downs" of people who actually have struggles like a foreclosed home, a disability or the loss of a loved one and have less glamorous lives? They are people one can truly admire.

First of all, I just need to say that I wish she ran her car off a cliff. The truth is that she is not being rewarded. The TV show was in the works long before she was busted. This was just an act to get her big nose in the papers before they announced her new show.
So I guess we get to watch all four snort coke on tv?
It's so nice that society rewards role models who exemplify good behavior. Thank you oxygen and thank you America for caring enough that this is mewsworthy.

These are not ordinary women. These are all spoiled rich brats that don't have a clue about anything. Paris thought that the cocaine in her purse was gum. Oh and the purse wasn't hers. I won't be watching because they have nothing to offer.

Isn't Oprah involved in this network? They sure are scraping the bottom of the barrel! The reason there are so many reality shows out there is because they pay these people peanuts compared to paying real actors on scripted shows. There is only one way to stop this....stop watching and ratings will dictate whether they stay on t.v. or not. But then, look at all the reality shows that have been on t.v. for years, such as the Bachelor, etc., so I guess people are watching.....dumbing down of America!
Another channel I can't watch, why do we keep rewarding these people for their bad behavior. Her behind should be sitting in a 6×6 foot cell, along side of Lindsey Lohan.

CNN forgot to mention how hypocritical this is that Oprah sometimes pushes morals but promotes Paris.
We all KNOW she is a jerk. But she has her OWN income. She gets paid VERY well for almost ALL the stupid things she does. In a nut shell SHE HAS A JOB. And in this economy where many people are out of work you can't hate on that. She found a way to make damn good money in a horrible economy. Don't YOU wish you could do that? I know I wish I could.

The sad part about all these reality shows is its telling our youth(who are going to run our country someday!!) That it's ok to act like an idiot, do drugs, sleep around and only care about yourself. As a personal note, I don't really think that Paris or Kim K, Jersey Shore thugs etc etc.. are really that good looking to be honest and they come off being dumb as rocks. Hence why they will never get married / have kids. And IF they do get married, I can promise it will never last more the 3 years. Who really among us men really wants to marry one of these girls? I much prefer the natural look of a Sandra Bullock, Nancy Travis etc... What Jesse James was ever thinking to cheat on Sandra he is an idiot. She just won the Oscar and you cheat on that! IDIOT!!!

I agree. I am so sick of seeing and hearing about her and all the other celebs, ecspecially reality tv show celebs. I know their stars eventually burn out and people move onto something else but what does it say about America when people find all this crap entertaining?
