Natalie Portman spilled Harvard secrets for 'Social Network'Natalie Portman may not appear on screen in "The Social Network," but the actress still plays a crucial role in the film. Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin says Portman, a Harvard grad, helped him out by spilling secrets about the school's private clubs, which served as inspiration for Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg (played in the movie by Jesse Eisenberg). According to Entertainment Weekly, the clubs are made up of privileged students and are so private that Sorkin had trouble researching them. But 29-year-old Portman, who attended Harvard from 1999 to 2003 and dated a member of the exclusive Porcellian Club, was happy to reveal all. "Natalie Portman got in touch with me when she heard that I was doing this to say, ‘Listen…come over for dinner and I’ll tell you some stories,’” Sorkin, 49, says. Her invitation earned a definitive "Like." Says Sorkin, “I would’ve come over for dinner under any circumstances. But that was really helpful."

I thought her best performance was the film with Julia Roberts, Jude Law and Clive whats-his-name LOL.....can't think of the film's name either.......man, don't get old, the memory goes first 
Anyway, her performance was the best in that film.
She supposedly "dated" Skip Osgood, but that is a bunch of baloney. Skip, Biff, Chauncey and myself spent almost all our time at the club, and I never saw her once. Also, she couldn't even get in to Dunster-Mather (which isn't saying much). The nouveau riche simply have no status at all in the clubs, so I highly doubt any "secrets" were revealed.
Natalie, Will you marry me? Yeah, I know people. Highly unrealistic. It's worth a shot, though.
And natalie's nude scene was in the beginning of "the darjeeling limited".
People, its a very good movie, for real, you could hate facebook and every other social network out there and you will still leave the theater going "wow, very good movie, that movie just flew by!".

And she's really not that great of an actress. Back when she was on Broadway playing Anne Frank my sister decided she was going to catch the play while she was visiting NY. My sister told me that her acting was SO BAD, that during one of the scenes where the Nazi's are looking for her someone in the audience screamed out "SHE'S IN THE ATTIC!!! GET IT OVER WITH ALREADY!" and the entire place broke out in laughter.
i think she's got talent and i love to hear that an actor/actress has an actual education.

Hollywood is filled with Jew's that know another Jew, that can get you into his Jew friend's movie, and make it based on a whale turd who made a social site similar to myspace. How original. In case anyone really cares; its a very good film. Totally engrossing, it flew by. Mark z was not over privileged, he relied on others for the capital to start facebook. He did screw people over and burned bridged though. The guy is a dick, and that dick is portrayed wonderfully by jesse eisenburg. Highly recommended

I was in these clubs. There's nothing really unique about them other than the secrecy. Our club we didn't wear boxers and had slap each other in the face instead of shaking hands, but other than that it was pretty normal. We used to hang out with Nat, which is what we called her and she always hanging around. She didn't really date a Precillian guy since most of them were not hetero and you had to have a diagnosed mental illness to be accepted.

Whatever, this sounds like a great classic story about an overprivileged jerk who burns a ton of bridges in the pursuit of money and fame. Also, like it or not, Facebook has changed the landscape of social media. You can't call it a fad anymore.
