CBS planning another Twitter based show

The reviews for “$#*! My Dad Says” haven’t been awesome, but that hasn't stopped CBS from giving the green light to another series based on a Twitter feed.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS has made a deal for "Shh … Don't Tell Steve,” a Twitter feed the publication says is produced by that tweetie Ashton Kutcher.

The back story of the feed is that it is supposed to be written by Steve’s roommate, who documents the guy’s life with tweets such as: “Steve's been playing lots of Playstation soccer. He keeps playing with USA and losing, then [expletive] that the game is ‘anti-American,’” and, “Last night, Steve went for a steak dinner with his new buddies from work. Steve: ‘I got the 16 oz porter and woke up soaked in meat sweats.’”

The television version will be about a man who deals with an immature roommate.

They should make a show about the fall of their own network.

They should make a show about desperate TV producers frantically searching Twitter for ideas.
