Behind the Scenes on 'Showbiz Tonight': Lindsay headed back to court

We've got plenty on deck for today's "Showbiz Tonight," but in this morning's meeting we were all buzzing about the outrage over Katy Perry’s new music video - with none other than Elmo.

Apparently parents are in an uproar over what Katy wore during a shoot for an episode of “Sesame Street," and the low cut dress ignited a firestorm of comments today in our editorial meeting.

We first aired the video in the beginning of the week, and Production Assistant Anisa Husain said she was surprised Katy was exposing so much cleavage on a toddler program, while others thought, "hey, it’s just no big deal."

A very big deal is being made today over a new report that suggests Bristol Palin and “The Situation” are engaged in a “Dancing with the Stars” romance. The staff’s first reaction this morning: “What would Sarah Palin think of her daughter dating the man most famous for his abs and for calling some women 'grenades'"?

And Lindsay Lohan will be in court tomorrow to face a judge once again because she failed a drug test. Believe it or not, some of the staff actually has some sympathy for Lindsay today. Some even suggested that Lindsay pulled the wool over the doctors’ eyes while she was in court ordered rehab and she was sprung from treatment way too early. "Showbiz Tonight" will be there live outside the courthouse so make sure you tune in at 11 a.m. ET!
