Hulk Hogan to host kid-friendly court show

Parents, are you tired of settling fights between your kids? Are their arguments over who gets to watch what movie first in the minivan driving you to drink? If so, Hulk Hogan may be able to offer a solution.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hogan will portray a “larger-than-life judge” on a kid-friendly, Court TV style show.

The program, which is called “Hogan’s Court,” is described as a live-action game show to settle sibling disputes, like the problems that arise from someone’s sneakers stinking up the house, or when a sibling spends way too much time in the bathroom.

“I am really looking forward to developing such an entertaining series with great production partners," Hogan said in a statement. "We want this to be one of those rare shows that kids and their families can watch together, and all find something to laugh about.”

The program, currently in development, is being targeted to 8- to 12-year-olds, and producers plan to have 26 half-hour episodes for the first season.

I hope this show is such a smashing success that he concentrates on it 100% of the time and quits wrestling forever.

While I think this show is a good idea, I'm not entirely convinced that Hogan should be the host given his lack of discipline for his own kids. I'm sure that he'll scare the bejeezus out of the kids and will be entertaining, but I really don't think it'll have any lasting effect.

The person I think would be great at it would be Rev. Run from Run's house. I think he and his wife has raised really great kids and have dished out appropriate punishments as well as offered sound guidance that any parent would find helpful.

Not something I would want to watch...How can you watch a guy giving advise about other children when his have turned out like they have? No Morals-racing and speeding in the city streets...etc...NO THANKS! I think he needs some lessons on parenting, can't really imagine him having any room to judge anyone at this point in his life...LOOSER!

Man. I know a lot of people look at all the stuff Hogan is involved in these days with regard to working, and say it's pathetic. I get sad and angry when I see him with some new gig. I watched his show for a while, loved him as a kid when he first wrestled in the WWF, and to see this poor guy who sacrificed his body for decades to provide a great life for his family, have to work on Rent-A-Center commercials and host ridiculous TV shows to make his money because his open legged wife ended up being such a loser. Good luck Hulk, I really hope you can retire soon, you deserve it.
