'Big Brother's' Britney Haynes scores a win

Hayden Moss may have won “Big Brother” last night, but Britney Haynes won’t be going home empty-handed.

Haynes was sequestered in Los Angeles as she prepared for “Big Brother’s” season finale Wednesday, and as a result was completely unaware that her home in Little Rock, Arkansas had been heavily damaged in a fire.

The good news in this story is that Haynes was voted America's Choice and won $25,000. By the time Zap2It caught up with Haynes, she had just learned the reality she’d be returning to.

“I don’t know any details about it,” Haynes said at the time, adding that “obviously the most important thing is that everyone’s okay.”

As for what’s next, Haynes said she had no idea. “I'm not sure what's going to happen...Obviously I plan on going home but now I don’t have anywhere to go!” she laughed.

The "Big Brother" contestant isn’t letting such a mixed ending to her stint on the reality show "rule out" any hopes of future work in the entertainment industry.

“I’m unemployed. I’m taking bids. I’m taking bids all day,” she told Zap2It. “Call me.”

I can't understand how she won. She spent a great portion of her time in the BB house making hateful comments about Rachel and Brendan. Very unbecoming.

  she won because most of America loves her.....and frankly, I don't understand why people complain about her. Everyone that is talking about her and how much they don't like her are doing the same thing she is getting a bad rap for....only difference is that she was on tv doing it and all the complainers aren't. Besides she didn't do or say anything any worse than every other house guest on the show.
