Malan Breton is one of "Project Runway's" most popular cast members - even after being ousted in the second episode of season 3 - and his show made a triumphant bow at New York Fashion Week.
With a full orchestra accompanying the models gracing the runway, his show not only featured designs for both men and women, but also a very cute black poodle, much to the crowd's delight.
Seated in the front row was a bevy of reality television's best, from Nole Marin - the former judge on "America's Next Top Model" as well as current fashion editor at Runway Magazine - to Denise Richards.
Also seen in the crowd was "Days of Our Lives" and "Biggest Loser" host Alison Sweeney, who showed obvious delight over several of the looks strutting down the runway.
It was hard to tell where "Real Housewives of New York's" Simon von Kempen's better half, Alex McCord, was, since he was seated at the end of the runway. But it all made sense when she walked out as the last model, looking beautiful in a beaded blue and silver evening gown.
But the reason we were all there was to look at what Breton created. From gorgeous dresses, skirts and menswear to the Chelsea symphony providing the whimsical music for the 40s inspired show, Breton clearly knows how to design with a woman's body in mind.
The event wasn't without some noticeable hiccups, however, with one of the models missing her cue and making a joke out of it on the runway, as well as the fire alarm in the building going off. Yet and still, the crowd was in good spirits and clapped during the mishaps.
In the end, Breton received a rousing cheer as he walked down the runway, flanked by McCord and supermodel Irina Pantaeva.
