Photos from 'Captain America,' 'X-Men' hit the webNeither "Captain America: The First Avenger" nor "X-Men: First Class" are due to arrive in theaters for quite a while, but fans can already get a sneak peek at some of the costume design thanks to recent photos from the films' respective sets. The images snapped at “X-Men’s” set depict January Jones as Emma Frost, aka the White Queen, rocking a retro look that included a short white coat, knee-high boots and a furry white hat. The pictures also caught what appears to be her stunt double wearing a matching outfit and haircut. And although Chris Evans is the star in “Captain America,” it was his stunt double that was captured by cameras on the film’s London-area set and obtained by U.K. paper The Daily Mail. The stunt double was decked out in the iconic costume, complete with helmet and shield, and riding out on a period motorbike.
The costume seems to hold true to the expectations Evans set for it when he chatted with MTV in July. "It's not this sleek spandex suit,” Evans explained. “It looks like something you might wear in the '40s in the middle of a war." But it also looks like the heroic character will have a few iterations of his classic costume. “He's used in different areas, so he has different stages of the suit,” Evans told MTV. “I don't think he actually jumps into the final suit until the third act of the film.” The movie has been filming since June and is slated to arrive in theaters next July.

Why a senior citizen stunt double?
Chris Evans is what? 25?
Marvel was sold to Disney yes that is why Spider man is going back to the beginning? Why have no clue. As for Captain America's costume, never really a fan of his personally and would like it if you could state your opinion without the nasty comments not everyone likes everything. It isn't the best costume I have seen not the worst either. Hope it makes the fans happy!

Wow, someone sh-&t in your cereal when you were a kid.
I hate to break this to you, but Cap's uniform is one of the uglist things ever created. How can anyone NOT look stupid? And the Name, Captain America? Oh, how creative. THere is some top talent lined up for this movie though, and if anyone can pull it off, this will be it, though I wonder how much international business Captain America will see. No one is in the modd for a jingoist America.
Top talent has made Marvel's best work? Ang Lee's Hulk SUCKED. Lots of Top talent in that too. But the real reason is that the concepts of superhereos is inheranently a stupid idea. It has no basis in real life. Even a "real Batman" would end up being shot and left for dead after the crooks he was trying to bust stopped laughing.
All this money being spent on superhero movies, and now anotehr Spiderman! Why don't they just go feed a starving nation instead. Hell, for the amount of money they're spending on the new spiderman movie they could probably give every kid in harlem or in the state of Arkansas a college education. Which do you think would make the better contribution to society?

I think the Cap pics look absolutely HORRIBLE--Marvel has chosen to go cheap with talent on this, and it is showing in everything about this movie so far-top talent is what has made marvels best work, and this is a VERY BAD SIGN
